If there’s a "beach economy," Buzios is its Wall Street. Its more than 20 beaches, world-class galleries, clubs and boutiques draw an elite set of travelers. Surfers love Geriba Beach, snorkelers enjoy Ferruda, hip Ossos Beach offers upscale beachside cafes and laid-back Ilhabela Beach offers a more down-to-earth Buzios experience.

This charming cobblestone street is lined with restaurants and shops selling resort wear, jewelry, handicrafts and artwork, and is known for its lively nightlife.
Buzios is a pearl. Busy, touristic, expensive, but not (too) tacky. I like seaside resorts with a lot of people going around, and here you can have it all.
The place is small enough to walk around, yet big enough not too get immediately bored. Many nice shops (not many international brands, mainly Brazilian), a beatiful area in the middle of the pedestrian street (where the Lacoste shop is), nice (expensive) restaurants, most of them with a nice veranda in the back, on the beach.
At the beginning of the street there is a CInema, where you can easily spend a night.

This place has the best sunset in town. There are many different restaurants and you can choose one, sit, watch the sunset having a drink and afterwards, have dinner. The restaurants are quite pricy. Check first.O Porto da Barra agradece sua avaliação e espera te receber novamente!

A small chapel where you can testify faith. Our Lady of Untying Knots is located in Buzios and there christians from all over the country and residents pay homage to the help given by Our Lady.

This is a terrific spot to view Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, landscape: an incredible and breathtaking moment to enjoy the natural beauty of flora and sea. The day we climb to absorb that experience, guess what, a 15 store high transatlantic tourist-full, monstrous vessel was right at the edge of the cape. What a surreal image! Amazing and yet shockingly unnatural.

Nothing fancy here just a lay bay looking out to see but when you look and see into the distance and realise that Africa is the next stop more than 8000 km away it is pretty daunting...makes you feel that man is small. Lovely view. Go to nearby posada laguna das Pedras for a great cocktail.

Concept is great but it all shows evidence of wear and lack of care. Still it provides a focus and a project for an hour or so.

Lovely beach only a short walk off the sheet, turtles in the sea amazing! You can higher boats and snorkels, very pretty in a little cove so sea is calm to swim in!

Really lovely small beach. Water looks clean until you realise all the crap and water taxis and tourIst boats are spewing out. The beach itself and narrow and as the tide comes up it practically disappeared. This is made painful by the fact that the beach chair guys take up all the space along the back of the beach, so unless you pay too much for a chair there is no space. Not ideal. Did a bit os snorkelling and there's very little still alive down there.

Quiet almost secluded beach right by the Colonna Park Hotel, with clear waters and calm enough for beginners to try stand-up paddling or snorkeling with turtles. Between 10 and 12 you sometimes get these ships stopping there and unloading day tourists in the water nearby, can be a little frustrating as they most often disturb the peace of the area. Sun shines there from sunrise to sunset.
