The place at the back of the hangar is really nice. You can play some games while enjoying a pint. People are very friendly. We tasted different types of beer and took a tour. Have to say though, beer was just OK. It felt this place was more business oriented with less love of a beer. In my opinion there are better local breweries.

You have to know what you're getting into - as it says on the website, this is a lazy river tubing experience. If you're looking for a quick jaunt down the river or whitewater rafting, you're in the wrong place. If you're looking for an...MoreThanks for letting us know about your river experience. I'm glad everything went smoothly, even with the tube losing air! I do hope you'll come back to see us again soon, perhaps before the season is over. :-) Take care! -megan

We were so happy that the seafood portion of Gregory's reopened. We used to take our children there when they were young. Now we have been able to take our grandchildren. Love the seafood! We have been several times since the seafood restaurant reopened and we are never disappointed. The setting is beautiful. Take time to enjoy it!

Well we were excited to go see the animals but apparently even though their website said they were open to the public from 11-4, they were actually closed after we drove and hour to get there. One of the workers said that that website wasn't their website anymore and the place changed form Animal Ed Ventures at Noah's Landing to JUST Animal Ed Ventures (because I should have known that). So then she proceeded to tell me I should have looked on their Facebook page. So I stood next to her, looked at their Facebook page (Animal Edventures Sanctuary, Inc.) and it said it was open. How about that. Then she said well if you scroll down it says we are closed. I guess I should have known that if their website said they were open to the public from 11-4 that I then should have looked at their Facebook page and THEN scrolled down to see if they were open. I guess I'm the idiot here.
Good luck to anyone who tries to go to this place because when you get there it will probably be closed. What a poor way to run a business.

We have been to Adam's so many time and recently joined their Wine Club. They have an excellent range of muscadine wines from dry to sweet. The owners are the greatest folk and have always treated us like family.

Keith Hills is a very beautiful course with a terrific layout. However, since Campbell University has a golf management program, which connects the students to this course, during school, it is virtually impossible to get around in less than 4 hours.
There are 3 nines, Black, Orange, and White. IMO, the White is mostly flat, swampy and boring. There are about 3 good holes on that 9, but that's about it.
KH has done a lot of work on this course, and removed a lot of trees on the Black side around holes 3 and 4, especially the par 3, # 4. It's easy to score on this course. Also, they route the carts off the course on some holes a good 100 yds out, which is irritating...esp., if you miss your 2nd shot... just sayin'.
Something REALLY aggravating, is if you play later in the day, a lot of the homeowners go out walking on the course... too many in my opinion, and you have to wait for them to get outta your way; sometimes they'll ignore you and keep walking even though they know you're playing.
All this being said, KH is really worth playing at least once! Played once, I'm sure you'll want to play it again. Enjoy! It really is gorgeous and the pro shop staff is terrific!

Love this park, great escape. Nice clean trails, scenic overlook you won't believe. Helpful staff. Clean rest rooms. Great picnic area. Stairs down to the river, huge boulders for climbing. This is a really nice park with extensive trails. Worth an afternoon or early morning visit.

This was actually my first of many brewery tours and was a great and informative experience for new comers to craft brew and brewery tours. We were visiting friends and decided to cash in on a Groupon they had for this brewery which included a tour, fight tasting and one pint and complimentary glass. The tour guide was very friendly and informative on the beer making process and took you from start to finish. The brewery is small compared to several others that I have done since, but the atmosphere was cozy and it was a nice place to go and have a beer. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Raleigh, NC area.

Jim Perry stadium is the home of Campbell University's baseball team, and the Buies Creek Astros, Fayetteville's new minor league team, will be sharing the stadium for two years. Nice neighborhood (the university campus), free parking, simple, but inexpensive concessions (for a ballpark), and a small, but nice stadium, made for a great visit. There is not a lick of shade at this park. If you attend a day game, bring sunscreen.
