Was informed this was a moderate hike. Would say more like a strenuous, difficult hike. Scaling rocks that are almost completely vertical but oh when you reach the top. The view is unbelievable. Went up the Blue trail and down the yellow/blue. Bring plenty of water and wear good hiking boots with thick socks as you are hiking on boulders and rocks almost the entire time.

This Museum's purpose is to educate, entertain and inspire visitors with the story of WWII-era Americans often called "the greatest generation". The Wright Museum is open seasonally from May 1st to October 31st.
My husband and I visited the Wright Museum of World War II in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire on Thursday, September 28th, while on vacation. This museum is organized quite well and provides comprehensive information on multiple aspects of the various wars, with primary focus on World War II, and has a very impressive collection of items. The Special Exhibit is very well done and includes enlarged photographs of soldiers from the Civil War, Spanish American War, both World I and II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War as well as the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The Home Front Gallery provides great details with many items on display depicting how ordinary Americans lived and worked during World War II. This gallery is quite nice with very good supporting documentation.
The Time Tunnel is excellent, having a separate room with many items on display for each year of World War II, from 1939 – 1945. Each year has an outline of the events that occurred during the year, including in the World and in the USA as well as songs, movies, books, firsts and what was on stage. There is also multiple audio video selections for each year, describing what was going on in Europe, the Pacific, on the Home Front, as well as the movies and music associated with the year. The audio video selections include the special events from each year, such as the World’s Fair, what was happening in Britain and Midway through the war, as well as Pearl Harbor, D-Day and the Homecoming.
The Military Gallery, which is on both the 1st floor as well as on the mezzanine, includes an impressive collection of tanks, motorcycles, jeeps, a plane as well as clothing, uniforms, gear, equipment, weaponry, model ships, paintings, posters and much more.
The Special Exhibit in the Art Gallery, which is accompanied by a very good film in the theater downstairs, includes enlarged photographs from each war, from the Civil War to the War in Iraq, with each photograph telling a story, reflecting the intensity of the emotion of the American soldier. The photographs from the wars are displayed in chronological order, within each war, starting with a very informative write-up outlining the timeframe of the war and depicting how the war started and other important details about the particular war. This exhibit is very well done.
This museum has much to offer, a lot more than what is described above and even includes a Soda Fountain Exhibit and a Victory Garden. The museum is highly recommended, being very enjoyable, educational, informative and interesting.

I cannot say enough about the Fantastic experience we had Gunstock this past week. I've been a skier on the East Coast for 40 years and have a lot of experience with different ski resorts. Gunstock went out of their way to bee friendly, accommodating and helpful. We were able to save a ton of money but using the flex pass option to discount tickets, rentals and lessons. I was glad that we brought our own lunch because I thought that the food in the cafeteria was a little bit pricey, compared to what they charge for other services. I thought that the trails were very well kept, the lodge was comfortable though basic and the people were very accommodating and made the experience fun. The only downside was that the crowds at the ticket office and Rental pickup were brutal on the first day. We spent 45 minutes in each line which would have been awful if that was the only day we were skiing. however once we managed that situation the first day, we were able to skip all of that waiting for the next days. I highly recommend this mountain for a great family experience.

When in Wolfeboro, NH, highly recommend a ride on the Millie B. 45 minutes touring the lake in a really fun boat with an amazing guide. Learned a lot about the lake and saw some amazing homes. Bill K, our captain, was knowledgeable and so much fun! Great way to spend some time on the lake. (And the boat can really move!)

VIP Parking West suck! You might as well just park with regular parking. Takes forever to get out... only take VIP parking if you are in the main lot.... Cool venue, VIP west sucks.... DTC tix are fun....

Rented bikes at Nordic shop in town, within walking distance of the trail. So handy! Trail passes shore of Lake Winnepesaukee some, the rest is wooded, or marshes, pretty in themselves. Enjoyed how easy it was.

This park includes a beach for swimming on Lake Winnipesaukee.
Beach has plenty of parking, picnic groves and shade. It is a great place to picnic and has a large 1000' Long Beach with a sandy bottom and gradual slope. Very good for family outing as the beach is sheltered from the wind and waves on the lake.

Cate Park is a really neat place overlooking Wolfeboro Harbor. It has a gazebo at which music is played on some summer evenings. It is close to several nice ice cream shops. There is a great Hot dog cart there some days. It is small but really nice. A wonderful addition to Wolfeboro.

My wife and I travel a fair amount and we always like to see what make up the places we visit. Going to this museum allowed us to delve into the history and ecology of the area - an area we love to stay in.

I came here in the 80's and love that it's bigger and better than ever. Wolfeboro is such a sweet spot and these trails are so much fun. The owner is so kind and accommodating. You get your tickets on Main St at the Sport store and then drive a short way. They have a very cozy warming hut and a great network of trails. This year the upper and lower are connected. I didn't do the second network the day I went but plan to soon. You can make a great day of it. Ski, then shop in the neat stores and my favorite après ski coffee and crepe is Seventh Sun down by the train station/visitors center. You can also ski the Cotton River trail. The $12 was money well spent and you can buy a season pass for around $60.
