This observatory is just 35 minutes from Maspalomas, and offers a family-friendly 2 hour tour , including an introduction to astronomy and telescopes, a laser-guided observation of Southern constellations, and actual observation of planets, nebulae and star clusters with the main instruments at our dome.

We came to Aguimes as part of a tour and instantly fell in love with it... and its lovely statues, of which the lovers is just one. Well worth a potter.
