Unlike the nearby Fischt Stadium, the design and construction finish standards of the Iceberg are both striking and high standard. Signage is good, information is good, access is good, access amenities is good and accessible access is to an acceptable standard. Russian engineering at its best, sadly the standard of this venue makes the Fischt Stadium look truly awful.

It is a bit far from the city center, surroundings can scare you, the road is terrible there, but the place is very nice. For Sochi it is excellent, for whole Russia this is excellent, clean, well-organised, there are a lot of different types of fishes, turtles. Even you can feed some of them. using special food from the vending machine (50 rubles).
At 2 p.m. there is a show - sharks feeding, where divers feed a big shark, swimming with fishes and give to smaller fishes cabbage/carrots and pumpkins.
Also it is necessary to mention, that the staff there is really helpful, kind, polite and guest-oriented. They know all the detailes, help you to enjoy the show and invite you to this beautiful underworld.
By the way in front of the oceanarium there is a small Soviet style pool with stone fishes from the childhood pictures.

Great atmosphere! I was there for both the opening and the closing of the Paralympic Games and they were one of the greatest shows I've seen. The stadium had rails on top, so lots of performers and items were flying by. I don't know if it's still used as a stadium, but if it is it's worth a visit.

Outstanding seats, beautiful ice, pro volunteers keeping everything clean, and an American on the organ. Great hockey night. Not sure if this is one of the buildings that's staying or if they are going to box it up and move it elsewhere. I hope, if they do move it, that it's to a place with good sewers. This is the venue with the infamous signs that forbade flushing toilet paper.

The sports palace "Ice Cube" in Sochi - the multipurpose object of the sports and mass and spectacular direction located in the Olympic Park. The building created in 2013 I became a platform for competitions of the highest international level. Here competitions of athletes within twenty second winter Olympic Games and the eleventh winter Paralympic Games, world championships on curling among Juniors (2013) and on an acrobatic rock'n'roll, the International Combative Championship (2015) took place. Besides sporting events the Ice Cube arena (the Great Cube) holds festivals, competitions, various shows and Concerts. Modern equipment of the building and the territories adjoining to it allows to change quickly platforms, to transfer mobile designs, to construct new scenery for actions of a different format.
I had front-row seats in Section A3 (highly recommended) but, really, you'll have a good view from anywhere you get seats. The whole thing is about the size of a larger than average high school gym. They do a great job of maintaining the ice without making the place uncomfortable. Nice clean bathrooms, good concessions, even curling paraphrenalia for sale. Look close and look quick though...this place isn't built to last. The railing pipes are already beginning to rust and the paint is peeling off the walls.

Olimpic embankment or imeretinskaya embankment is the best place to swim in Sochi: the water is clean, you can rent a sun lounger (200 rub per day). There is a shower, dressing room and locker at each beach. If you are hungry, you can chose among numerous restaurants: the most expensive are at the embankment and more democratic cafes are at the second line from the sea.
