Shanklin Beach is a beautiful, carefully tended stretch of sand on the Isle of Wight. Families appreciate the lifeguards, as well as the kids’ play area. And while there’s quite a hill separating the town from the beach, don’t worry—a lift makes it easy to tote all your beach paraphernalia down to the sand.

Welcome to Routefifty7 the Isle of Wight’s premium Bike Hire. Our mission, Getting people on bicycles, keeping people on bicycles, having fun with it and making a difference.
I popped in here on the off chance I could ask for help... Steve was really very helpful! Took my daughters bike in and he fixed the brake, turned the front wheel round as it was on wrong, oops! checked the seat tightened a few bits for us and gave some good pointers on where to go locally! Kevin also joined in the impromptu service and tweaked the bell on the bike! What a lovely couple of chaps! Cannot rate this place highly enough... friendly, go above and beyond, great local knowledge. Highly recommend

The only dedicated Christmas shop on the Island. Packed full of decorations for the home & tree. Many pieces exclusive. Open March to Christmas Eve 7 days a week 10-5 and summer evenings
Jingle Bells is a lovely little shop situated at the old village end of Shanklin. On our holidays which in normal circumstances are taken on cruise ships I always like to buy a Christmas decoration as a small momento of the many places we have visited so it was a delight to find this little gem of a place on relatively home turf. We have grandchildren with names that are unusual and out of the ordinary meaning we can never find them on tree decorations so it was great to discover that many of the items on sale could be personalised by the very helpful lady who served us. Not having been to Shanklin for many years it was quite sad to see the decline of the shops on offer there but Jingle Bells was a valuable exception to this and well worth a visit!

Clock Tower Beach can be found next to the clock tower that was dedicated in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee. On this beautiful clean stretch of sandy beach you can hire clean modern sunbeds deckchairs windbreakers & parasols or try our water sports which include SUP kayaks pedalos. Toilets are close by and two of Shanklin’s fine pubs are situated across the road for food & drinks
A lovely beach with lots of room too play or walk and lots of amusements along the front for rainy days including crazy golf. The parking was easy when we were there but this may be more challenging in the height of the summer.
