Thank you Bill for such an informative tour. The guns are amazing and the tunnels just blew me away - hard to believe all that is under the earth. I recommend this to everyone.

It is one of the most prominent landmark in Rottnest Island and it has great views from the top of the hill. If you are unfit, I recommend the hop-on bus. Lather plenty of sunblock, unless you plan to get a tan.

Fantastic location for a few night's stay. Close enough for access to facilities, but private enough to feel like you have the island to yourself. Great family style cabins too with plenty of privacy and a stunning view.

Made this our last last spot when cycling around Rottnest island. Spent the most time here after a long day of exploring. Good to spend some extended time on the nice beach, does get pretty popular sometimes but it's so nice. Great snorkeling and diving too at each end around the rocks.

Rottnest Island Visitor Centre is located in Thomson Bay near the main jetty. Ask the helpful and friendly staff for maps and information about attractions, tours, bus services, bike hire and mooring rentals. If you are staying in Rottnest Island Authority accommodation you can check in at the Visitor Centre from 2pm daily. Please phone for opening hours and other helpful information.
The visitor center has all the souvenirs and super friendly staff. The island it’s self is absolutely amazing would recommend the hop on hop off bus services to get from spot to spot as they run every 15min and there is plenty of knowledge shared by the driver along the way. Driving is amazing and not over crowded, wouldn’t recommend riding bikes if you want to see the whole island with the family as you would need to all be fairly fit as it get quite hot. Take plenty of water as fill stations and stores are limited.

Stunning white sand beach with great snorkelling! Easily accessible via the Hop On and Hop Off bus or a short 20mins bike ride from town centre, which is part of the fun getting there!

A spectacular section of the island's coast. We saw osprey, mutton birds, pelicans, gulls, terns, cormorants, and others. We saw giant black skinks. There were dolphins frolicking in the surf. We could see two seals get out of the water and clamber ashore on the rocky outcrop just off from the viewing platform. Sitting and watching the constant waves, and keeping an eye out for wildlife was a buzz, especially when we clearly saw whales blowing air.
