Located in southern Iceland, this small valley contains breathtaking waterfalls and volcanic formations.
This might be the most beautiful place on the planet. We half expected fairies and pixies to pop out of the nearby caves. Totally worth the drive off the road.

This is the only way to travel around Iceland-- Especially if you want to get off the ring road and explore some off road attractions. The tent was super easy to use and stayed warm and dry in rain and heavy wind. We saw a lot of different camping cars but the vans would not have been able to go where we took our Camping Car. No issues whatsoever. Would definitely use them in the future. Staff super helpful and knowledgeable and took us to and from the airport super fast. Get the extras! We used them and it was worth it. Great quality!!

Enjoy the Bird watching. On our sailing to the whales we follow the coastline so you can enjoy the rich bird life in the lava cliffs. Frequently seen in whale watching are guillemots, arctic skua, gannets, and other species. The waters off the Reykjanes peninsula coast are an important habitat for these marine mammals, mainly as seasonal feeding ground. In the winter we also go hunting for the Northern lights! Enjoy this extremely magical moment as we go for a drive at the Reykjanes Peninsula to hunt! -when we catch them, we have a professional camera to capture the moment. Once a week we upload them to our Facebook page for you to show off.

Loved Krysuvik Geothermal area! We stopped here while exploring Reykjanes Peninsula. Such a cool sight to visit! You can park and walk on the boardwalk through the geothermal fields. Walking through this geothermal area, with the boiling mud springs, and the banks around the hot springs so colorful! Lakes Kleifarvatn and Graenavatn are part of Krysuvik Geothermal Area and both work seeing. Especially Graenavatn with the beautiful green color! I definitely recommend a visit here. In fact, i wish we had skipped Krysuvik Cliffs and had more time at the geothermal area, to walk the longer trail where you can overlook this beautiful site.

Our first day in Iceland was not a full day. We landed around noon, ate lunch and then visited places around Reykjanes Peninsula. Gunnuhver Hot Springs was our second stop, following Bridge Between Continents. It was cool to see! There is a ramp from where you can view everything. Make sure you have a waterproof jacket and be prepared for the smell! I definitely recommend spending some time visiting Reykjanes Peninsula and the unusual sights. May not be as spectacular as the sights on the South, or photogenic, but they are unusual and worth seeing. In case you are interested, these are the sights we hit on our tour of the Reykjanes Peninsula: Bridge Between Continents, Gunnuhver Hot Springs, Reykjanes Lighthouse, Brimketill Lava Rock, Krísuvíkurberg, Krysuvik geothermal area (Seltún, Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn).

Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks situated under the mountain Reynisfjall near the village Vík , southern Iceland which is framed by a black sand beach. The black, eroded sea stacks are not only beautiful to see, but beautiful legends are associated with them. Maybe, if you look on them you recognize the two trolls. Such an amazing location, this is nature at it's best, amazing scenery. One of the most beautiful and magical places on Earth.

One of our favourite spots in the south, Kleifarvatn lake is incredibly beatiful. We prefer it in early spring, when there isn't any green around, while probably it's at its worst in winter.
