An easy walk designed by our team to observe the wildlife and most importantly to get close to the flora of Lubuk Semilang. The place which has over 100 medicinal plants along the trail will widen your knowledge on how the natives in Langkawi thrive in this island once upon a time ago. Monkeys, hornbills and insects are among a few that you might encounter along the walk with the guide telling
Picked up from our hotel by taxi, we arrived in the Sanctuary's small but modern HQ in the jungle to be met by our guide. Two hours later, our minds were buzzing from the myriad of exquisite butterflies we had seen thanks to his expert help and deep knowledge, as we walked through deep, cicada-buzzing forest, protected by the Sanctuary. Monkeys and rare birdlife added extra spotting thrills. We really felt we were privileged to see such wonders in the wild. Highly recommended.

We booked the day tour with lunch included thru our resort with Dev's Adventure Tours. It was a superbly informative tour which brought us to the Bat Caves, Crocodile Cave, thru the estuaries, where the very experienced Skipper spotted a Swamp Viper resting and well-camouflaged on the low branches of the mangrove tree. We saw loads of long-tailed macaques along the shores and were then given an informative lesson on the different mangrove tree species and the history of Langkawi and the importance of mangroves. We then proceeded to spot Kites and White-Bellied Eagles where we also witnessed their feeding. The guide also explained why there was feeding and how the feeding is controlled in a way that does not render the birds incapable of hunting for their own food. We then looked at the various stone formations as we traversed along the estuary before heading to Tanjong Rhu Beach for a short 20 mins before adjourning for lunch at a floating restaurant. We were also brought on a exciting ride against the waves of the open Andaman Sea on this trip. It was half a day well-spent and a wonderful history cum geography lesson coming alive thru the rich biodiversity we witnessed. It is highly recommended that you take a morning to explore the Kilim Geoforest and I would recommend that you do so with Dev's Adventure Tour.

Presented in three-dimensional forms, many of these paintings seem to spill out from their framed canvases, offering a fun way for visitors to interact, photograph, and blend with the artworks. One of the highlights of the Langkawi Art in Paradise 3D Museum is the stunning panoramic painting of the gleaming Kuala Lumpur city skyline, featuring the iconic Petronas Twin Towers, Menara KL Tower, and Sultan Abdul Samad Building. The massive Egyptian theme zone is another must-visit for memorable photo opportunities, where visitors are transported into the mystery-filled ancient civilization. Images of the majestic Sphinx, pyramids, and pharaohs are painted in great detail, and seem to come to life in photos. While the Langkawi Island is usually frequented for its excellent duty-free shopping, island-hopping and diving opportunities, Langkawi Art in Paradise 3D Museum at Oriental Village offers a uniquely fun-filled activity for travelling families.

Amazing views and very good value for money. 55RM per adult for the skycab, 3D art museum (brilliant fun) and sky dome. Only 5RM more to be paid at the top for the skybridge but so worthwhile. Plenty of places to eat and drink at the bottom, great few hours spent here
