What a great place to visit. They are so great and caring with the animals and the tour is greatly entertaining! Both ourselves and our daughter enjoyed the explanations in Spanish and feeding all the animals was a blast! Must visit if you are with 100km range, it is worth it!

Bodegas Valentin Pascual

We are a family winery in Cenicero, La Rioja, dating back from 1885. We resort to traditional manufacturing methods for all our wine and vermouth production. We are the last winery in Spain still pressing grapes from our own plots with our own feet, at our XV century cave in our hometown. Fermenting the grapes and wine in stone lakes and in century american big oak vats, when this process of carbonic maceration was born. Our winery uses fully traditional methods and offers a unique experience for wine lovers, who can get a taste of traditional wine production just as it was back in 1885. We are 20-minute drive from Logroño.

I felt genuinely welcomed to visit and admire this old church (for free). In the evening it was beautifully lit inside and there was some spiritual music on. It enhanced the experience and let me appreciate its unique character. Some other churches don't go to so much effort even though they have a little lot more to present.

This is the first Dolmen site I've seen in Spain. It's very beautiful, scenic and rich in ancient history. I was very surprised that it's not very visited. One of the most unique structures anywhere in Spain. Like a miniature Stone Hedge without the massive tourist crowds. Well worth the detour if visiting La Rioja.
