Highly recommend this escape room! We did the Diner and it was such a great time. We made it a family experience as we took our 3 kids under 7 and they loved it too. Gamemaster was fantastic and provided just the right amount of help throughout . We didn’t solve the mystery but were so close. Can’t wait to go back and try the other room .

As a nice diversion to the craziness of life - we made the effort to drive from Indiana to Hannibal MO to see the boyhood home and inspiration for Samuel Clements “Mark Twain”’s Huckleberry Finn Adventures. We are so glad we did! ???? We had a wonderful time. So much to see and do. It took us about 2 hours to see the various sights, houses, displays and interactive exhibits. It’s definitely an amazing reflection on the challenges our country had during the 1850’s - 1860’s. The issues of slavery, treatment of those in poverty and the expectations and experiences of those from refined lifestyles. We learned so much about Mark Twain - that by the time we left - we felt like we had spent and afternoon sitting on his porch and laughing and philosophizing with him. There are some great deals available on GROUPON for discounts on tickets. Otherwise - expect to pay about $15/person. All tours and displays are COVID safe. Masks are recommended as well as social distancing. As in the words of Mark Twain: “Always do what is right. It will gratify half of mankind and astound the other.” Have a great time ????

Enjoyed our tour of this historic cave that was a favorite site for Samuel Clemens as a boy. Our tour guide Alex was both very informative and funny; he debunked some myths about the cave and has a genuine interest in its history. The walk of about 5/8ths of a mile was easy and generally quite level with a few slopes that have handrails. You will make multiple brief stops at a variety of sites. Passageways are narrow in spots. There are many open passageways off the main path, so I would recommend not taking any children under 5. You should wear a jacket or sweatshirt; the cave was 52 degrees the day we went.

There's plenty to do at this park. There's a waling trail that will take you around part of the park. Unfortunately, a windstorm years ago damaged many of the trees and closed part of this area. There's great picnic spots and open ground to toss a football or play soccer. There are several shelter houses, and of course, a nice playground for young children. Take a small drive through the park and there are several look out spots to look at the Mississippi River. One of these spots has a gigantic Mark Twain statue. We enjoy exploring through the woods and using our imaginations to fight off creatures and dragons!
