Perfect one stop shop for your Biking needs around Edisto Beach. Ask about our Bike Tours! We offer kid friendly bikes, Bikes with a pull along cart, tandem bikes, and adult bikes. We have the best customer service on the beach and offer free delivery and pick-up.
Considering that mid-November is off-season, Jeremy was very responsive delivering (10) bikes for a men's retreat 30 minutes away on a remote island. All the bikes worked perfectly and were very comfortable "cruiser" designs. It was particularly nice that that the seats could be adjusted without opening a tool box. I high recommend Edisto Bike Rentals - we will be using them again in the future.

A family-oriented recreational area.
We were able to upgrade to a beach side campsite due to a cancellation. The other campground looked nice but without another vehicle or bikes it was way too far from the beach. Our site was amazing. We could hear the roar of the waves just over the dunes. Dogs need to stay on a leash but are welcome. The beach is loaded with shells and another camper found something that appears to be a mastodon molar. Restrooms are close and clean. It was a half mile to a mile to several restaurants, but nice options. The Bi-Lo is under construction but will soon reopen. There is no laundry on the Island. Dump station is out on Rt 174. Great place for a few days, but bring bug spray.

We want to make your visit to Edisto memorable. Nature surrounds us here and you haven't seen the best of Edisto until you experience it on the water. Fishing, shelling, kayaking, and expeditions close to the birds and creatures that inhabit this very special part of the internationally known ACE basin will become memories you and your family treasure for the rest of your lives.

Visited Botany Bay on Sunday. Free. Self-guided driving tour of the preserve with printed pamphlet explaining different points of interest. Entire area is stunningly beautiful; marshes, trees, beach! One of the places you can visit is the beach. About 1/2 mile from beach parking lot to the beach. 'Due to natural beach erosion the coastal forest is slowly being swallowed by the Atlantic Ocean'. This creates an absolutely surreal experience. We have never seen anything like it. Trees sticking up out of the water. Make sure you go at low tide. I understand beach is not walk able at high tide. A gabillion sea shells which you are not allowed to take, some interwoven in tree branches. About 5 miles from Edisto Beach. We drove down from Charleston and cant believe we found this gem. A must see.

Needless to say all my fresh vegetables and fruits come from here when we vacation and we can never leave without getting one of their pies!! This year was two trips by and a lemon cream pie and a chocolate cream pie! One year I'll brave the tomato pie!

We LOVE stopping at Kings Farm Market on our way into AND out of Edisto Island. It’s a small farmer’s market but they will have something you’ll want to enjoy on the Island during your stay AND something you’ll want to take home to share a little island flavor. They have pies, cakes, other sweet treats and savory tomato pies and casseroles-squash, broccoli, and seafood-Omigoodness so delicious! Oh and shrimp and pasta salad and I could just go on but I will wrap it up by recommending a stop both on your way IN and OUT of the Island it’s just a treat to have some old fashioned goodies there and when you get home.
