The spectacular Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge (formerly Dunfield Theatre Cambridge) is located at 46 Grand Avenue South in Cambridge. Situated in a historic downtown setting along the Grand River, this stunning 500-seat theatre facility is conveniently positioned near great shopping, exquisite dining, beautiful architecture, luxurious accommodation and a wide range of fascinating attractions.Designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects, the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge is a state-of-the art facility with world class acoustics and excellent sightlines that provide unparalleled intimacy between the audience and the stage.
This is a wonderful facility in which to watch shows. Every seat in the place provides good viewing. The place is spotlessly clean, lots of women's washrooms and intermission snacks. There is an elevator for diabled people. Unfortunately there is not enough parking and both times although arriving half an hour early, we have had to locate street parking that was not real close.

Stroll alongside 1000's of free-flying butterflies in an indoor tropical garden at Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. Visit our two galleries with mounted displays of insects and butterflies then witness butterflies as they emerge from their chrysalides and embark on their first flight.
Entering into the garden was as if you were in a movie, a magical and tropical paradise...you hear water running birds chirping and because it was winter, you had summer vibes????

Lovely trail that winds along the river on the park road and then has a boardwalk with a pond that has many turtles. Many Canada geese and ducks on the river. Also leads to other trails throughout the city.

With over 20 years of experience, Airborne has perfected its programs in the sport of trampolining. These programs include Recreational Trampoline Classes, Trampoline Birthday Parties, Summer - March Break Winter Break Day Camps, Public Jumping, Special Needs Classes, Adult Aerobics Classes, Moms & Tots Classes, and Airborne's Competitive Trampoline Team.
My family has been in and around Airborne for about seven years now. Our daughter started rec classes at the age of eight. At Airborne, she found exercise, friends, good coaching, and ultimately her passion. Seven years later, she is a national level athlete, supported by Chris (the gym owner) and his well-qualified coaching staff. Over the years, Chris has built a highly successful competitive team - now the top team in Ontario two years running. That success simply wouldn't happen without a lot of attention to the recreational programme that runs through weekly classes, summer camps and PD camps. Airborne also hosts great Birthday parties (we've held parties for our kids there and been guests at lots of parties) and open jumps on weekends and during school holidays. There are classes for kids, classes for adults, classes for snowboarders looking for a place to practise tricks. The gym is safe, well-run, successful and staffed by lots of really wonderful senior and junior staff. Check it out for a party, a camp, an open jump (great during the holidays) or a class. You won't be disappointed!

Shade's Mills has been called the best-kept secret in Cambridge. Favourite activities in this day-use area include swimming, sport fishing and canoeing. The conservation area has 12 km of hiking trails through a mature hardwood forest that winds along Mill Creek. There is good fishing for northern pike, perch, largemouth and smallmouth bass in the 32-hectare (80 acre) reservoir behind Shade's Mills dam. It is open for cross country skiing, snowshoeing and ice fishing during the winter.
We didn't have high expectations of this park since it is located very close to the city; however, we were very impressed with the great hiking trails, the beautiful trees, and the delightful beach. We plan to return in the autumn with our canoe and in the winter with our snowshoes.

The 18 kilometre (11 mile) trail follows the Grand River through lush Carolinian forest with spectacular river overlooks. The trail is level, finished with fine gravel and provides an easy path for cyclists and hikes. The trail follows the old roadbed of the Lake Erie and Northern Railway (LE&N). Trail Access •Cambridge: The Canadian General-Tower Trailhead is at 210 Water Street South (Highway 24) just south of Concession Street. •Glen Morris: A parking area at the end of Forbes Street also serves a nearby river canoe launch. •Paris: The Jean Rich Foundation Trailhead is on Willow Street near Green Lane at the north end of Paris. Uses •Hiking and biking all year •Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter •No motorized vehicles of any kind
The Old German Woolen Mill ruin near Glen Morris along the Cambridge to Paris rail trail is an unexpected encounter with history. It’s cut stone walls and raceway arches and overall imposing height are testimony to the skills of the stone masons who built it. Access is now signed as no trespassing, although it can be viewed from the rail trail or off a roadway in front of the ruins.

Huge play ground area with a splash pad. It’s a perfect place to take kids! There’s also a lot of nice hiking trails and a little creek where you can catch crew fish. There is also a little area where you can see deer and peacocks! Highly reccomdended
