In a canoe, a paddle board or a pedal boat, a different way to visit Beziers: on the water. Two routes to choose from: one is the “monument trip” to visit the town’s main sights (Old bridge, Cathedrale, Canal bridge and more). Or there ‘s the “nature trail”, with more than 10 km in the great outdoors. A breath of fresh air ! It’s possible to rent for 1h, 2h, 3h. Reduct price start to 4 pers.

When you have a two week holiday with teenagers most parents know by now fully well that you need to build in some activities to keep away from getting agitated ???? So we went on a 30c day fully sunny for something in the shade. Our kids thought this was great fun! They actually worked together and helped eachother..... thats quite something for a 13 and 16 yr old. The place is just of the main road and has a big parking area. Word of advice: DO NOT LEAVE ANY VALUABLE BELONGINGS IN THE CAR! There was a family that had car window smashed in and ipads and bags stolen.... There are several loops to do and our kids used a good two hours to do the difficult one plus half an hour waiting/instruction.

« la Compagnie des Bateaux du Midi » is a river animation of passengers' transport, on the « Canal du Midi », the locks of Fonseranes and the tunnel of Malpas. We operate on the nicest part of the « Canal du Midi » and the richest in monuments. We provide a secure, comfortable and upscale navigation equipment (restoring aboard heated or air conditioned, 80 seats) and organize all types of events.

This is such a beautiful Church steeped in history. Although it is situated at the top of a hill, it is fairly easy to access from the town. Admission is free (there is a donation box) and it is well looked after. There is a lovely courtyard and the views from the Cathedral grounds are magnificent. It is certainly worth paying a visit if you are in Béziers.

A lovley old bridge which is in keeping with the old town and impressive when seen with the cathedral, you can walk across it but be careful as traffic travels across too.

I like it here....great underground parking .... two levels of shops with the top level handed over to eating and entertainment... Something for everyone
