We have been to Apenheul before. This time we went with the grand parents and the children a lot older. It was still fun. Whether it is the free roaming squirrel monkeys, lemurs or macaques or the lovely displays of bonobos, orangutans or gorillas, the park is entertaining. In addition, there is plenty of catering. An excellent place to visit, with or without children.

One has to pay 2 euro to walk there but I found that certainly worth it. The walks are well indicated and one passes several buildings and structures belonging to the palace/royal family

Brilliant place for kids. I am still here at time of writing as we turned up at 9:50 and, having had lunch and a doze, he is still playing. Massive space with areas for toddlers and older kids. Very clean and staff have been great. Fantastic hamburger too. I had to miss a round of golf in the end but I have actually enjoyed my day here. Not sure when we will escape however...
