The sun almost always shines on St. Petersburg, the "Sunshine City" that enjoys an average of 361 days of clear skies per year. Combine that with 244 miles of glimmering coastline along Tampa Bay, the Gulf of Mexico, Boca Ciega Bay and the intra coastal waterways and you have one hot beach destination. Catch the sun, surf and sand at Ft. De Soto Park, or take a hike up the 37-mile Pinellas Trail. Enjoy a Devil Rays game during baseball season or escape to the shady oasis of the Sunken Gardens.

Founded in 2005 in Poland, Kozuba & Sons is a family-run distillery that produces premium craft spirits. Now at home in St. Petersburg with over 11 years of experience, the Kozubas are focused on sharing their passion with the American market, beginning with Florida. Kozuba & Sons hand-crafted, small batch spirits are made from the finest ingredients, using meticulous processes. Each bottle possesses the trademark Kozuba essence: a striking combination of quality, craftsmanship, and taste. We are happy to give tours of the distillery Mon-Sat, included with the tour is a tasting of all our labels. Please call or email to schedule a tour, walk-ins welcome.
Having visited distilleries from Scotland to Kentucky it's always interesting to see the focus and direction of a distillery through a tour of their facilities. Locals and travelers alike should take the time to tour Kozuba's when in St Petersburg, Florida. From the start of the tour and tasting, Kara will show her passion and knowledge of what this distillery of Polish heritage produces. You will have ample opportunity to taste the product, from their rye whiskey to cordials and hopefully soon a 4x distilled bourbon (a very unique concept, as Irish triple distilling is the max I'd heard of before). The attention to the distillation process shows itself in the product. A nice experience from start to finish - as was the tour. The website is a little tough to get through to figure out how to get a reservation. Just call ahead. I went on a Saturday at 3 PM. Because of the small staff, I would assume tours are only at specific times during the week or weekend. If you're into the tasting experience of whiskey and vodka, this is a great place to go.

Our glass Museum showcases major works of contemporary American and International art by founding and leading artists in the field of studio glass and art expression. #ImagineMuseum
My wife and I have been here several times since they opened a few years ago. This time most everything displayed looked different. I asked one of the guides and he stated, "They change out most of the glass work very 3-4 months". It seems always to be fresh with new displays of glass from the artist imaginations. What I like about this museum, it shows the American Glass Movement from it's Infancy to the Present. My wife and I have collected glass art pieces from around the world, have seen numerous glass museums around the world, and this one is in the Top 3 in the world.

An unparalleled collection of Salvador Dali artworks, spanning his life and career, featuring works in many media. #TheDali
Over 2,000 pieces of Dali’s work in a 20,000 square foot new museum from 2011, the largest collection of his work outside of his home in Spain. The Morses were collectors that started with Daddy-longlegs, starting a friendship with artist. Connie, our docent whisked a huge group of us through the magnificent museum giving us a lot of background about the founders, artist, building , Art & it’s symbolism. Steve answered all of our architectural questions about this 36 million dollar bunker that can withstand a cat 5 hurricane. The enigma is 1200 different glass plane structures around the concrete. Twelve builders were brought from Mexico with a chef for 22 months to build. Fascinating that the building represents the body of a man and woman on her back. From different perspectives the building looks different. The center spiral staircase represents a DNA spiral. The architecture & garden tours were wonderful too, too much to see! Fabulous app that gave us a self guided tour & lots of info about the art. The gift shop was exceptional, so many beautiful Daliesque jewelry, clothing, books, art ... Cafe was lovely as well, a lot to choose from since we didn’t want to leave. We enjoyed our salad and sandwich outside in the garden.

Come see what many people say is the best thing to ever happen in St Petersburg. The Market runs from October - May. (9am - 2pm) The smaller nearby Williams Park Summer Market runs from June - August (9am - 1pm)
When I visit my sister in St. Petersburg, Saturday morning market day at the beautiful downtown farmers market is always a must to do! There is always such an abundance of fresh beautiful produce that it’s hard to not overbuy! With the live music, lots of food vendors, and artisan booths, one could spend the whole morning eating, browsing and enjoying the music on a beautiful day in downtown St. Pete. There are lots of inexpensive parking garages close by!
