THE WINE CELLAR OF THE “DESCALZOS VIEJOS”, was founded in the year 2000 and specially restored for the purpose of wine-making by The architects Francisco Retamero and Flavio Salesi and their respective wives, Chelo Porras and Mariela Grana. It is situated in the chapel of a sixteenth century Trinitarian monastery, perched on the higher slopes of the impressive Tajo of Ronda.

Visit our vineyards, we will give an explanation of how we make wine. Then do a tasting and depending on what you want can take tapas or eat with us on our patio. You can also sleep in the cellar. The visit involves a walk through the vineyard with information about our form to cultivate the wine plants and the land. After this we visit the elaboration area and the wine cellar where we explain the wine making process. Finally you can taste 4 different types of our wines served with bread, sausage and cheese. Minimum 2 persons, maximum 30 persons. Please get in tough at least 3 days before visit.
