We visIted The Ranch on a beautiful Sunday Morning. The staff is very friendly and informative. My horse was MAC and very well groomed. COVID-19 safety measures were all in place. We did a 1 hour trail ride through the beautiful enchanted woods and fields. The staff took pictures for us and sent the link right after our session!! I highly recommend for all ages.

We went in March to the Zombie room, everyone in their 20s had a lot of fun. Challenging, but having the large group work together and bounce off one another was super fun. Everyone really enjoyed themselves, a fun different activity to do with friends or family. 11/10 recommend narrow escape... we will be back for the other rooms for sure.

You guys who live in Oakville, Ontario or nearby in-around Toronto are SO LUCKY! Well, I had a chance to see my family there also being on a business trip, when an absolutely free day suddenly popped up on my schedule. And just a day before I met this wonderful lady who appeared to be an owner AND operator for this incredible, unique and family run spa location. Now I think it is a MIRACLE that THAT Tuesday was free! Let me explain… I was invited to the place, which is by the way, called Ocean Splash, and I expected to see another regular nails/hair/massage time-pressed location, but it was absolutely not the case. This location has an individual approach for sure. Natalia was operating my journey for pleasure and health, with the highest level of expertise using the sauna, salt room, jetpeel facial, massage and a yoga class. If you will have a chance to get there, don’t miss a chance to talk to her or to Augustin, these guys dig so deep into the science of the thing, that you might end up just like me – googling and learning on how to fit a COMPLETE rejuvenation in a couple of hours and how to take away a piece of that HEAVEN to home. Can I replace a vacation with just a day in spa, really? Now I know where I can! The yoga session was actually an Anti Gravity Hammock Meditation. Yes, yoga in a hammock, in the air! Location not so big, but the configuration, knowledge, scientific approach, attention to details, and the level of quality are so high, that the experience you get is just next level. It was pure body healing and honey for my mind. To sum up, I realized that it was not just a spa location, it was a winning lottery ticket betting on a chance to visit a MASTER of his craft, like a legendary tea master in Japan or a shaman in Peru, you name it. Their price list is diverse and long, if you’re confused, I recommend to call and book some 3-4 hrs of private time, or even a full day, and believe me you will forget that you are in Toronto. You will thank me later ????

The gardens provide such a peaceful location to walk & take in nature. The park with it's ponds & wildlife (ducks, frogs, turtles, etc.) looking out over Lake Ontario take you to a state of tranquility immediately. The rose garden & it's heavenly fragrances is divine.

This is a favourite walking destination for our [active] seniors’ group which is a particular popular destination in the autumn to see the fall colours. But the visible sedimentary geology also elicits comments and interest. Evidently also a great place for picnics and BBQ’s. It is extremely well kept and an absolutely amazing freebie. The entrance road demands brakes in good working condition but a thrill for those who have otherwise sedentary lifestyles. Parking is adequate and dog walkers love the paths. Despite the traffic overhead, it is a place of tranquility and natural beauty.

Kids love the summer water play area, and cooling off in the waters of Lake Ontario. A nice walk with shaded and sunny areas, play areas, picnic areas, and an easy commute down Lakeshore Drive.

An independently operated 5-screen first run movie theatre, locally owned and operated, nestled in the heart of Oakville, Ontario, Canada. Buy Tickets: https://film.ca/show-times-by-date/ COVID-19 Procedures: www.film.ca/welcomehome
I know the 2 owners who have saved small town movie theater. It’s a great place to catch movies without paying the huge fees of the big chain theatres. The seats have tons of leg room for those of us who are not 5’7”. Go there get some popcorn and a pop at reasonable prices and enjoy a movie.

Provincial Park - we are near by and natural. Located between Oakville and Burlington, Ontario. Great place to test our your camping skills or equipment. 145 electric service sites, filling and dumping station, laundry equipment, playgrounds, yurts, programs (summer), trails and a leash free area. Campers use 3201 Upper Middle Road W. During stay campers have access to day-use area (off Burloak) but my drive 6-11km to separate entrance. Day-use area off Burloak Drive has been a family favorite for decades. 13 km of trails, 11 reservable picnic shelters, children's play barn and farm, 1,8 acre outdoor swimming pool (additional fee), family and group education programs. In the Winter enjoy cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Annual events include: Maple Syrup Festival, Springtime on the farm, Ghostwalks, Camper Halloween and Victorian Christmas. Please refer to official website for details as this information could be stale.
Very nice to see such extensive off-leash trails I love to take my dog here. A bit pricey to enter but its a relaxing place to be.

A picturesque background for any couples looking for a waterfront stroll in summer or fall. The walkway leads to the lighthouse and includes a number of benches to sit and snuggle while taking in the spectacular views of sailboats along the lake. A great way to enjoy the outdoors in the day or moonlit evenings.
