Here at Black Knights Parachute Centre, we offer a range of different skydiving activities. We are a family run, cycling tour and holiday company. We organise day cycling tours in the Peak District, the Yorkshire Dales, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. We organise multi-day tours elsewhere in the UK, including the Way of the Roses, Hadrian's Wall, North Wales, C2C, Coast and Castles. the Peak District among others. In our day tours we have over 20 different day bike tours covering all the towns and villages in the different National Park. Our day cycling tours range from leisurely to challenging and the routes are a mix of trails and small roads, some are also loops while other are in and out tours. Bikes, equipment, guide and lunch provided. We also offer bike and equipment rental.

Our brewery and micro pub is located in a converted stables building, which dates back to the 18th century. Our intimate and quirky bar is located on the first floor above an Apple repair shop. Our brewery is capable of brewing around 140 litres of beer each brew. This is very small by most breweries standards but we like that. It gives us the flexibility to brew small batches of different beers and experiment more then larger breweries. We have 10 craft keg taps and 2 cask beers. As well as our own beers we have an extensive range of craft beers from artisan brewers. We often have beers from the likes of Cloudwater, Wylam, Northern Monk, Verdant, North to name but a few. For those who prefer other drinks we sell quality red and white wines, craft gins, soft drinks, gluten free beer and alcohol free beer.

Owned by the serving monarch, HM Queen Elizabeth II, through the Duchy of Lancaster, Lancaster Castle is a wealth of English history. Since being established by the Romans the castle has been a home to monarchs, a place of trial and execution, and a working prison right up until 2012. Still a crown court, the majority of the castle is now open to the public for the first time in over 1,000 years. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and ongoing restoration work in the Shire Hall guided tours have been suspended until January 2021. The courtyards are open and free to visit but there is no access to any of the buildings at the moment. The cafe is open between 10.00 am and 5.00 pm daily.
