The economic, cultural, and political capital of Kuwait, Kuwait City sits on the shores of the Persian Gulf, and is a mixture of exclusive Western-style hotels, designer shopping malls, traditional Islamic architecture, street markets, and still war torn buildings. The painted steel Kuwait Towers are the symbol of the city, and feature a viewing platform and restaurant looking out over Kuwait. Visit the Sadu House to learn about Bedouin culture and shop for handmade crafts and fabrics.

TSCK is a cultural achievement and educational facility enriched with knowledge, which portrays fascinating architectural design that reflects Islamic art and culture. Al Shaheed park, located on the periphery of Kuwait city, narrates the story of a land, its history and culture. The park consists of 200,000 m2 of greenery, featuring beautiful botanical gardens, two museums - Thekra & the Habitat, a visitor center, a lake, walkways and jogging tracks, making it the largest urban park in Kuwait.
Beautiful park with great attention to detail. Walking and jogging trails, brilliant landscaping, interesting sculptures, water features, extremely clean, quiet and relaxing. Outdoor classes and events are sometimes hosted there. One of my favorite spots in Kuwait.

Kuwait Towers have stood as the undisputed national symbol and one of the most recognizable landmarks in Kuwait. Today, the Towers have become an integral element of the Kuwait City skyline, occupying a focal position on the Sea Front along the Arabian Gulf Road. Known to residents fondly as “Al Abraj” (simply the Towers), they are a must-visit destination for residents and tourists. The Towers main features include two restaurants, the viewing sphere perched at 123 meters above sea level and Dasman private hall.
Landmark of Kuwait and a must see anyhow if you are in the country on business, leisure or stay locally. The view from 120 meters above sea level is awesome with a revolving platform that takes a full 360 view of Kuwait City and the Arabian Gulf. There is a Horizon Restaurant that serves a daily lunch or dinner buffet at KWD 14/- per person and another option of KWD 18/- per person which is all inclusive of drinks. So have nice romantic or business meal at breathtaking heights. Entrance fees to the viewing sphere is KWD 3/- net per person. If you want to know the history of the towers or explore more in depth during the invasion of Iraq, then I suggest to have a professional tour guide from a local reputed company like Orient DMC - KUWAIT that I used during a visit of my friends and families.

Although this isn’t the largest mall, it is still pretty big, and it's less crowded and more relaxing than the Avenues Mall. It combines everything one can wish for! Excellent shopping from luxury goods to every day consumables, choice of restaurants and cafes as well as entertainment. Highly recommended!

The beach is comfortable and nice for a stroll, but the weekend is crowded and it is a beach next to a classic and attractive complex
