Don't miss your opportunity to visit one of Ireland's best kept secrets and a signature point on the Wild Atlantic Way. Located in south west Donegal along this magnificent costal driving route are Ireland's highest Sea Cliffs, Sliabh Liag. A visit to the cliffs and the surrounding region is a must on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure. Experience the local culture, heritage and people of Donegal against the backdrop of our spectacular and rugged coastline.
Excellent venue and everyone loved it , hidden gem If you don’t want to walk you can drive to another car park and the views from there are amazing. If you want to walk further you can walk on up the mountain which is well worth the effort. Plenty of photo opportunities.

There are in fact a few "Tracks" to the very top of the highest mountain in "County Donegal" where of course the view is spectacular !!???????? Even if you find the ascent a bit of a trial the trail coming down is a pleasure ????????????????????

Silver Strand beach is the most dramatic beach in Donegal and 100 metres from the cliff top is the Village Coffee House. A trip to Malinbeg where the beach is located is about 90 minutes from Donegal Town. The beach is reached by a series of steep steps and the waters are safe for swimming - no lifeguard. The Village cafe is ideal for a coffee break or light lunch with pleasant efficient service. Another hidden gem along The Donegal Wild Atlantic Way.

Amazing views from here.It is well worth the short drive from Dunfanahy to see this natural attraction. The views in all directions are amazing. The road to the head is very narrow in places and there is not much parking when you get to the top.

Kinnagoe Beach is truly a little gem & is different from many of the beaches in Donegal in that it's smaller & more sheltered & surrounded by tree lined cliffs. It has very unusual sea worn rock formations, which are well worth exploring. The sand is golden which is typical of the fabulous beaches of Co Donegal. It's about halfway between Greencastle & Ballymagaraghy. Access is limited as the road is extremely steep close to the beach, so campervans beware!!

Portsalon Beach, also known as Ballymastoker Beach is an absolute wonder & probably one of the best beaches anywhere! The lovely golden sands are typical of the many stunning beaches that meet the Atlantic on the majestic coastline of Co. Donegal. It's pristinely clean, surrounded by unspoilt countryside & is located on the north eastern side of Fanad Peninsula. As you approach the beach from Rathmullan there are fabulous views overlooking the entire beach. These beaches are fantastic for walking but best when the tide is out as they treble their width. An absolute must see!

The Art House is a unique 21st Century Irish Art/Craft Gallery. The gallery is also the Studios of (owner) Independent, Multidisciplinary and Award Winning Artist Brian O'Doherty. The aim of the Art House Gallery is to showcase the best Arts/Crafts of the Wild Atlantic Way.
Immensely enjoyed my visit to this fabulous gallery. Work had an international aspect as well as depicting the Irish landscape in a multifaceted way. My visit was all the more enriched by a personal sharing from artist owner whose work was really the star of the show.
