Alice Lake Provincial Park

This scenic park contains four lakes and is perfect for hiking and swimming.

Their campground is the nicest one I've ever been too, the washrooms are consistently cleaned and literally always looks brand new. the camps are also a good distance from the other campsites so you get some woods to yourself and more quiet. Also, all the campsites are really near to Alice lake itself. Though the lake is actually not that appealing but good safety measures in place!

Garibaldi Provincial Park

Garibaldi Provincial Park is a favorite destination of outdoor enthusiasts: it offers a range of hiking opportunities from lush alpine meadows, wildlife viewing opportunities, alpine flowers blooming in lush meadows, and hikes ranging from a few hours to a few days using map and compass. Garibaldi Park has an interesting geological background as it was created by volcanic action which created the formation of many of the parks peaks; the Black Tusk, Price Mountain, The Table, Mount Garibaldi, the CinderCone and the Glacier Pikes just to name a few. Lava from Clinker Peak is responsible for the creation of The Barrier. Behind this natural dam 300 metre deep Garibaldi Lake was formed.

Fantastic experience! Great views. Alpine flowers in full bloom. Only disappointment was finding discarded noodles in the stream. Encourage people to please learn about how to properly discard food waste! Information is provided by Parks Canada upon making reservation.

We always stop here to do some eagle watching. Sadly this time no eagles, but the view never disapoint. Saw lots of turkey vultures and some unique benches on the way. The little restaurant.....oh my goodness, what a gem.

Shannon Falls Provincial Park

Beautiful waterfalls just outside of Squamish, easily accessible off the Sea to Sky Highway.

Wonderful little park with an easy walk to a beautiful waterfall. Kids climbed around and I was able to enjoy the area on my mobility scooter. You can choose a more rugged path to get up even closer to the falls but I still had a great view from my scooter. You would never know this lovely little oasis was in town. Parking was ample. There is a gift shop. About an hour to leisurely explore with kids.

Absolutely amazing views!!!Well worth the cost of admission World class attraction.I recommend checking weather forecast as you want to go on a clear day. Also going during the week there will be lots of parking and less people for a more secluded feel on the trails. The day I was there a wedding was taking place so Romantic!!!Well marked trails and dog friendly. The only downside was food and drink s were expensive so i suggest packing your own lunch/brunch/dinner.Over all great experience for couples and families alike.
