This is the most prominent religious place in Maharashtra. It is about 75 km from Solapur. During our visit, it was not much crowded. Yet, it is better to have online booking for darshan and Pooja, for smooth darshan. There was good flow of water in Chandrabagha river. There are many temples in Pandharpur on the banks of the river including Iscon temple. The main gate of the temple is called Tukharam Dhwar. After darshan of lord Vittal, you proceed to Rukmini mandir, just behind Vittal mandir. The complex also have shrines for Satyabhama Laxmi and Narasimha. In the shrine of Vittal, the solah stambh mantap, Purandaradasa stambh is of special interest. About 2km from the main mandir at Gopalpur, there is a temple dedicated to Sant Janaa Bai where we have darshan of lord Bhimashankar and Sudha Devi, parents of Rukmini and Sakku bai kitchen. For those who want to visit Pandarpur and Tuljapur, it is better to stay at Solapur. We covered both the places on the same day by engaging a taxi, normally costs around 3000/-. Solapur has better hotel options. Our stay at Lotus hotel was quite comfortable.

This temple is on the opposite side of chandrabhaga river as compared to main Vithal temple. It is less crowded and has got lot of area. There is a vegetable and flower farm by the side of temple and vegetables are used for Prasad of residents and flowers for making garlands for the deities. There is a Goshala and there are Indian cows and the milk is used in making sweets which are sold in the restaurant run by Iskcon. We purchased pethas here and they were very nice. There is ghat here and steps lead to River water. Some portions are still under construction. Temple is big and peaceful. The deities are beautiful and resident Prabhujis and Matajis take good care of the temple and keep it very clean. Chaitnya Mahaprabhu had visited Pandharpur to take darshan of Vithoba. After this temple, we visited main Vithoba temple and Pundalik temple on opposite bank. We liked the atmosphere of Iskcon temple so much that while returning we again came to Iskcon temple, attennded Arati and Satsang and had food in the restaurant. It was clean and tasty. It was Tripura night and diyas were lighted and we felt blissful with singing of Mahamantra.

Winery and tasting room of Fratelli Wines Pvt Ltd, a producer of high quality wines from India. We welcome visitors at our Tasting Room, which can help them learn and appreciate the quality of wines produced by our Italian wine maker, Piero Masi. A great day getaway from Pune, you will love the beautiful expanse of vineyards spread over 240 acres across three locations. The largest single vineyard site stretches over 150 acres. Come, enjoy our hospitality and enjoy a great day out!
This is a lovely place. Acres and acres of vineyards are a sight for sore eyes used to seeing concrete. The guest-house is very good. And the team that looks after you is great. The food is simple and the evening Italian food is really good. Simple, genuine, authentic. The rooms are big, clean and few. Which is a good thing as we dis not want a crowded place. They take you out for a drive to the vineyards and that is fun.

On the banks of river chandrabhaga devotee pundalika's temple stands tall . As soon as you reach the ghat you can see the beautiful and colourful temple. The ghat is not completely cemented so you might get your feet in mud. According to the tradition first every devotee must have bath in chandrabhaga river then worship it later have darshan of pundalik and then only proceed to vitthal rukmini temple. Inside the main temple there is a shivaling which was worshipped by pundalika's parents who were shaiva. Outside the temple in shallow water is lohadandatirth (लौहदण्ड तीर्थ) where Lord vitthal first appeared in pandharpur. You can go for a private boat ride on the river for 150/- and there is ISCKON temple on the other side of the river. There are vasudev's (वासुदेव ) on river bank who are men in white dhoti and peacock headgear who sing vitthala's abhangs to make a living. Do listen to them and you will feel the real divineness entering you
