I have heard about Shakespear on the Saskatchewan for years but have never seem to gone, until July 2019. I finally pulled the trigger on this and a combo with the Prairie Lily. I must say this is a first class act of live play/theatre. The actors were great, engaging and top notch. I saw A Comedy of Errors. It was great. I have to make this a more regular activity. So worth it.

The museum as a whole is an amazing interesting place. Lots of great displays and town replicas. Model train show was as spectacular as usual, Wheatland Express and simulator was great. Had a snack at the extremely busy restaurant and was great. Food is good and quite reasonable pricing. A definite must see in Saskatoon! Check out the Steam Train...Its unreal

Longest bike path in Canada. Nice walk along the river with plenty to see: wildlife watching, like pelicans and Canadian geese, full of monuments and historic buildings, has outdoor playground and recreational gym facilities and kayak rental, tennis courts and plenty of cafes, galleries and shops with outdoor sitting to enjoy the Meewasin masterpiece landscaping that makes it pleasant for the eye at any time of the year. An annual Saskatchewan marathon path.

Great trail 15 minutes outside of Saskatoon. Perfect spot to go for a walk and enjoy sunsets. There is also a fascinating scientific excursions for children and explorers where a guide tells you about local SK nature and its inhabitants. Good for both summer and winter walks, but make sure to have enough mosquito repellent in summer.
