Warrabilla Wines is located in the historic Rutherglen wine region. Andrew and Carol Smith have built a reputation of producing formidable red wines of heroic proportions. A range of whites, reds and high quality fortifieds are on offer 7 days a week 10am - 5pm.
We had an excellent tasting at this winery with Robin taking us through a number of his wines. He was very down to earth and quite entertaining and I thought the wines were outstanding quality and value for money. In particular the Parola’s Limited Release Shiraz & Durif are worth trying while the Smithy’s Blend Cleanskins are also really good value. If you are visiting this region I would highly recommend that you have this winery on your itinerary.

We were recommended by locals to come here for an arvo drink and platter and we can see why! our host was lovely (I assume he was the owner but wasn't 100% sure) we had a sample and ended up having a glass with his amazing idea of being able to build your own cheese platter! you grab a board and pick and choose from the fridge and just pay for what you like! it is such a great concept! bought a couple bottles to take with us back home which we are eager to open! great place!

That's the advice I was given - for taste, service and hospitality. We were warmly welcomed, invited to take a look around the cellar, and then offered a tasting. We were quite selective with what we wanted to taste, conscious that we couldn't actually taste everything on their extensive list. However, they are very happy to share their knowledge and passion, through the tasting experience and they worked with our preferences to guide us through the list. The wines were good and the fortifieds were lovely - it was very nice to be offered the full range of fortified wines, appreciating the differences was a nice experience. I wish we'd coincided our visit with lunch as the platters on offer looked very appealing. We thoroughly enjoyed this visit.

This rustic cellar door in the backstreets of Rutherglen is housed in a collection of rusty corrugated buildings. We have no Muzac and our idea of mood lighting is when the fluro doesn't come on. In spite of this the readers of Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine voted this as Australia's Top Cellar Door,in June/July 2012. We look forward to welcoming you.
I have been to Chambers many times. This time due to COVID rules we had to sit down and taste the wine. It was really good. Our host, Vanetta was amazing! She was so friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. We were not aware of the new rules for booking ahead with a large group but she just took it all in her stride when 15 of us arrived on our bikes! And politely suggested we let the other wineries know that we were coming. This made a big difference to our day. She also then dropped all our purchases off at the hotel. We all had such a lovely experience at Chambers and tasted many of the very good wines, thanks to Vanetta.

"Where flows gold, soon flows ale", and so it was that "Seven Star Wallace" arrived shortly after the initial gold rush to quench the thirst of the lucky and drown the sorrows of the unlucky. Seven Star shouted the bar at his hotel (not far from where we brew our beers today) so that he could rename the town after his hometown in Scotland - so for the price of a few beers Rutherglen, Victoria was born. Our beer and cider is lovingly handcrafted in small batches with rich full bodied flavours with hop profiling to reflect seasonality and a focus on highly sessionable beers, come and sample our Australia styled Pale Ale, Bohemian styled Pilsner, Wheat Beer, beautiful Porter and Apple Cider. Relax in our beer garden and eat one of our great gourmet pizzas. Live entertainment most Saturday Nights. Open for group bookings and catering of events. Just ring one of our friendly service team today.

It's been awhile since we stopped in Buller Wines and a lot of changes have been made and it looks really good. We settled on some wine tastings and were welcomed with a friendly smile and offered a seat at the bar. We tasted quite a few wines and purchased their Fine Old Muscat, Sparkling Rose and The Nook 2019 Durif. Nice to see that we didn't have to pay a tasting fee. They also have a beautiful restaurant and outdoor area. Well worth a visit when traveling to the Rutherglen/ Corowa area.
