Lovely shop with local food and wine and reasonable price bowls, boards and spoons made from local olive wood carved locally.

Tucked into the setting of the Gulf of Diano Marina in western Liguria, it stands in the ancient and characteristic medieval village of Rovere, in San Bartolomeo al Mare Imperia. The Sanctuary today is still the destination of large flows of pilgrims and faithful from all over the world, since what distinguishes him, is a particular attention to the ancient Christian cultural and liturgical tradition, in facts, inside there, are celebrated liturgies and functions according paraliturgies at the Ancient Roman Rite, in Latin.

We were very luck to get into this church as it not open often. The wall paintings are lovely and the location has lovely valley views , You have to walk 5 minutes down a small rough track from the main road to get there.

Worth a visit. Old fortified city. It's nice to wander through the alleyways, if that is your thing! A few nice restaurants. The have this quaint story where they have their own flag, are trying to become independant, and have a princess!
