Big Sky Breakout is a live interactive escape room experience. You, your friends, family, or coworkers have to solve puzzles, find clues, and discover hidden mysteries in one hour. Can you beat the clock? It's an entirely unique experience for everyone to enjoy!
What a fun experience! We had heard about escape rooms before, but really didn't know what to expect. When our family arrived, we were given excellent instructions and then taken to an amazing and decked out theme room. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of sophistication in each room and had a blast figuring out the clues. Our kids, 11 and 8, were able to fully participate and we all felt that we were able to contribute equally. It was great having a few hints given to us, and we can't wait to do this again. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

This scenic downtown park on the banks of the Clark Fork River is the home of the popular Missoula carousel and a great place for a family outing, with a large jungle gym, walking and bike paths, frequent special events and concerts.
From city-wide events, to overlooking the river, to kayaking, listening to music, and people-watching, Caras Park truly is Missoula's "Town Square".

THE CAROUSEL IS CURRENTLY CLOSED TO HELP STOP THE SPREAD OF COVID19. THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING, AND PLEASE STAY SAFE. This beautiful carousel, completed in 1995, was the brainchild and vision of a local Missoula cabinet-maker, who carved much of the structure himself and also trained an enthusiastic team of volunteers to assist in the project.
Want to feel like a child again??? Get on this beautifully restored carousel!!!! But be warned, this is not a ride for the faint of heart. One of the fastest carousels in the world, it spins at a heart racing 8mph!!! (Yes, they provide seat belts) Be sure to grab for the brass ring as you spin around... it's one of the only carousels in the world that still let's you win a prize!!!

The smoke jumpers' center was one of the highlights of our time in Missoula. We were right in the center of the action. The tour included the ready room, sewing room, and parachute rigging area. Our guide was well informed and shared a lot of information. The smoke jumpers answered questions, as well. We need to give thanks to these men and women for putting their lives on the line to save our beautiful natural resources.

This fun and festive playground is literally a kid's dream-come-true: In 2001, it was designed by and dedicated to the children of Missoula. In 2019, the play area was refurbished and expanded. The work allowed the enhancement of features for children with disabilities. Poured-in-place rubber surfacing accommodates wheelchairs, and many new play features were added for children of all abilities.
the dragon hollow play area is right next to A Carousel for Missoula so visit both at the same time, The kids will love it
