This St. Lorenz Lutheran Church was founded in 1845 by German immigrants who came to Saginaw Valley. Church on Sunday is at 6:00 and 9:30 A,M. They have a cemetery. They have stained-glass windows. The cross is at the very top. They also have lots of flowers. The organ is beautiful! They have a tower and a steeple. The church was built with red bricks. It is gorgeous! Wow!

The aerial park is a combination of ladders, bridges, climbing elements and zip lines spread throughout acres of wooded beauty. Climbers proceed from platform to platform through the course elements, then enjoy a short zip to the next set of elements. Our newest course, FrankenZip, is a fan-favorite with 7 long zip lines at heights ranging from 15 – 35 feet off the ground.

Our small group of 3 was in Frankenmuth, and we just happened on this and decided to try it. We are so glad we did it! We've done a lot of rooms and this is possibly the best one yet. (We did "the Heist") This is a high tech room, with a lot of great ideas! Staff was excellent (Jenny and the desk guy-sorry didn't catch your name.) Awesome! Awesome!

Frankenmuth River Place Shops is a great collection of unique shops and cafes that fit in with the Bavarian style of the town. The area is set up like a little village with paths that wind through the different shops as well as sitting areas, a water feature, and common areas where there is live music at times. The main entrance through the town is via a bridge over the Cass River. This entrance also gives you easy access to the river boat ride that takes you for a leisurely cruise along the water. There is another entrance with lots of parking on the other side of the shopping area. Although there are some chain shops such as the Yankee Candle Company, there are also some unique stores in this little mall as well such as the Enchanted Forest, which also has a little outdoor display that is adorable. There is a little something for everyone in this eclectic group of shops

This place has a great variety of local and unique cheeses. The best part, you can pick an assortment of cheeses, and if you do not want all of the packages on display, they will customize the size for you! Definite stop if you love cheese or want to try something different!

I'm glad I listened to the reviews that said to start your trip to Frankenmuth here first. We went in and requested the free coupon books and picked up the gnome scavenger hunt for the kids. I saved some money at some of the places I had planned to shop at anyways, and the scavenger hunt occupied the kids as we browsed. Us adults even had fun trying to spot the gnomes too!
