100% would recommend a visit here if you have the chance! Tip - go early sndy hike to the top pool FIRST, you're likely to have it completely to yourself! We hiked up there about 9.30am, spent an hour up there and were completely uninterrupted. We then went to the second pool and there was only one other person there. The second pool is quite noisy due to the force of the water! And the lower pool always has a ton of people at it. So make the effort to go to the top one and spend your time there:) The water is so cool and refreshing, a welcome feeling from the heat & humidity!!

We used Tropical Paradise Adventures for our airport transfers to the Coral Coast. Really easy, and priced at about half of what our hotel was quoting. Great communication, and the driver was prepared with appropriate fitting child seats and made an easy stop for us at the local grocery to stock up on baby supplies before we hit the resort. I'd definitely recommend highly!

Folks this is the shooting location of Tom Hanks Castaway movie. Please donot confuse it with another island resort with the name Castaway Island Resort. We took the SeaSpray Day adventure tour from south sea cruises to visit this wonderful and isolated island. Its so beautifully mesmerizing, amazing snorkeling right off the beach. The sea around is pretty rough though. The beautiful beach, background hills and the help me sign is a perfect picture setting. There is nothing much to do on the island as you are not allowed to climb the top and reach the other side so you are limited only to the one side of the island. We were allowed only an hour on the island which I found was pretty sufficient to snorkel and roam around and take few pictures.

We vistied the park as a family, Mr 10 and Miss 7 loved it, they got to hold an iguna and a boa constrictor, and hand feed turtles, which was amazing, they got to see different types of birds, and had a great time in the splash pool. Unfortunely we did not do the zip line or the water slide but we still had a great day out.

Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park

Sculptured through the workings of wind, water and vegetation, the Sigatoka Sand Dunes stand out as one of Fiji's most unique wonders. In 1989, 390 acres of the Sigatoka Sand Dunes was established as Fiji's first National Park- The Sigatoka Sand Dunes National Park. A key contributor to its protection is the archaeological treasures buried beneath the dune sands. These artefacts have contributed to the history of man's first arrival in Fiji. Today, evidence of this past continue to be unearthed by the wind. The Park is home to a unique Dune forest which is now home to a myriad of wildlife. Some notable inhabitants of this forest include the Fijian Swallow tail Butterfly, the fruit bats, the Goshawks, the giant stick insects and cryptic Pacific Boa. The National Park is a Fijian heritage, rich in both natural and cultural attributes.
