Terra Remota is a minimalist style winery, which uses gravity in wine elaboration, and respects nature and environment. The project was a dream of the family Bournazeau Florensa which was made true by their commitment and knowledge and two catalans architechts: Pepe Cortes and Nacho Ferrer. The project is simple :to be present on the table of the bests restaurants in the world showing the beauty and richness of the Emporda, bottled in our wines.
The hospitality was amazing. We were six people arriving unannounced and waited a little bit. Then Eva came to us and asked us if we would like to have the wine taste. That was a great experience! After the tasteting Eva took us to a short tour around the wineyard. Thank you so much for your expertise and kindness to us. A big THANK YOU from the danish students :-)

Built in the 1930s, this was the summer home of the famous artist Salvador Dalí.
Simply amazing. A beautiful house in a perfect location with the house itself as if Dalí left only yesterday. Good value too. A must.

I visited as part of a tour on the last week of February 2020. We had an amazing day, Josep the owner was very welcoming. We had a great meal with delicious wine to go with it. Unfortunately we were limited on the number of bottles of wine we could bring into the states. Needles to say, the pandemic hit and the wine was quickly gone. But it was a memorable experience which will never be forgotten in a beautiful part of Spain, I hope to be back soon to visit la vinyeta.

This garden is well laid out and the map provided enables you to plan your route which is essential if the Festival is on and several routes are blocked due to the staging. There are steps so taking a stroller is tricky but possible. The cacti are impressive and the views equally so! It costs 8€ for adults and 3€ for pensioners. Children have free entry. Sunscreen and a hat are useful!

Cadaqués is a lovely village with narrow cobblestone streets and a lovely church with very beautiful ornaments. Dali used to visit here a lot, a many other artists. It is not far from Port Lligat where we visited The residence of Dali.
