Turtle's Paddle Adventures offers Stand Up Paddle (SUP) lessons on the Island of Oahu at two of the MOST SPECTACULAR locations in Hawaii. Both are just a short and beautiful 45 minute drive into the Hawaiian countryside from Waikiki. Kahana Bay is known as one of Hawaii's best kept secrets. It is here that you will begin your paddle adventure with us. Our lessons last for 2 EXCITING, FUN FILLED hours and begin with a short land lesson. Then we hit the water, launching in the CALM, FLAT stream where the instructor will continue to teach you different stroke techniques, stances, and turns while we tour the GORGEOUS stream leading into the jungle 3/4 of a mile toward the mountains... going around several bends in the stream, and ducking under tree branches. The session will end with us paddling out into the bay and landing back on the beach at the parking lot where we met. We have now opened a new location at the historic Haleiwa Beach Park on the north shore. This location also starts out on calm, flat water on the Ana Hulu Stream and ends in the bay. This location has many green sea turtles to paddle with. You will paddle under the famous double rainbow bridge that has been in many movies.
