The design of the museum, the collection of cars, model cars and memorabilia is simply amazing and definitely a must see. It is hard to grasp how much love, effort and dedication it must have taken to build up this world class collection.

We don't take many people and No loud music on boat. On Saint Mary everybody has rezerved sunloungers. Among the most spectacular in Turkey, the site has remarkable remains from the Roman and Byzantine periods.
I visited as part of a private tour arranged by Crowded House Tours with my wonderful guide Sucru. It was the last stop on a day that began in Çanakkale, stopping in Assos and Pergamum on the way to Kusadasi. We were able to drive almost right up to the front entrance of the ruins which lay atop a large hill that overlooks a large plain. The effect is that you are removed from the modern city below, and allowed to immerse yourself in contemplating the ruins and the history they represent. I was able to spend a little over an hour here, which was enough to get a superficial view of the ruins. I was able to see everything on the acropolis in this time. I was constantly moving in order to “see it all.” I did not have time to walk down to the theatre and have a look there. I would recommend that if you are a real fan of ancient history, and want to truly take in the significance of the place and it’s ruins, you allot more time for exploring. Two hours would probably do. But if you are a passing fan of ancient history, an hour is probably enough. Still the views themselves here are probably enough for even the most casual traveler to stop and have a look.

Good variety of rides and attractions. The place wasnt mega busy except on weekends with locals. Try to bring your own drinks and food as they are expensive.

Must visit spot if you are traveling with kids in İzmir. My suggestion is to start your visit as early as possible, since the animals “go homes” at around 4 pm. And definitely grab your kids stroller since the territory is huge for walking around. One more tip - you can have a lunch right there in front of the pound with swans and ducks. The one thing which was disgusting for me personally was that they didn’t put proper signs with clear indication where to head. Or maybe that might be an issue only for those with topographical cretinism. I have lost a precious time searching for giraffes ???? f.e. Please take that into account and allocate a whole day from morning for the zoo. And keep in mind that the way will take about an hour to reach there. the diversity of animals you’ll see in correlation with the ticket price is GREAT. and what’s more important is their living conditions - the animals looked happy????

I could hardly imagine a calm rural place which has gathered the views of bay, jungle, and mountain together; but after visiting the “Teleferik” of Izmir I learned that impossible is impossible. The gondola line is inside the range of Izmir public transportation, and it is very easy to reach there (by subway and bus). The gondola ride is neither long nor expensive, but it offers the fantastic 360 degree of natural views in a rather short ride from the city. I recommend walking in the park at the top of the “Teleferik”, and making fantastic photos.
