My son, daughter, and her boyfriend, ages 20, 23 and 25 had a wonderful horse ride, accompanied by Rancho Xotolar cowboys. They were picked up at their hotel, right on time, visited the ranch, made fresh cheese, rode for about 3 hrs, through beautiful trails and streams. They returned to the ranch for a healthy bountiful meal, and were driven back to the hotel. Jeans, and tennis or booties fine. And maybe a cap or hat! A wonderful Saturday!

Go at your own pace to enjoy the country side of Mexico through the river and up the canyon as well as sunset views. We pick you up door to door and offer various excursions daily for the beginner, intermediate and experienced trail riders.
Beth was our hostess and she made this a pleasurable experience for all of us. We are, none of us, experienced riders, but it made no difference. She and two cowboys accompanied the three of us up to the edge of the canyon and then back by a different trail for variety's sake. We had a great ride, followed by a home-cooked, delicious lunch, and then she returned us to our house., from which she had picked us up in the first place. I absolutely loved it. Thanks, Beth.

BENDITA showroom is a concept store promoting Mexican talent. Many things make San Miguel de Allende a unique place, so unique that it has the power of drawing creative and talented people from all over the world. The artistic community is very strong; people who are related to culture and arts such as painting, literature, sculpture or fashion. The concept of Bendita (blessed) was developed by its owner Myrna Camacho, a trained designer who originates from Monterrey. The store seeks to showcase and promote the work of young Mexican creators who express their talent in different media, but have high quality as an essential common denominator. In Mexico there are many success stories, but at BENDITA showroom they are confident that Mexico has many undiscovered talents ready to shine and to be exposed. Bendita showroom is located at Hernandez Macias 56A, between Mesones and Insurgentes, a half block from Teatro Angela Peralta. It is an excellent opportunity to support designers in fashion, accessories, jewelry and decor.

This prestigious university was constructed to blend in with the rest of the city.
Our tour guide included a tour of the campus and we finished in the Auditorium/Theater. Spectacular. The whole campus was stunning, the architecture the history. Really impressed.

Located on a nearly 3,000-foot mountain called Cerro del Cubilete, this huge statue of Jesus is one of the largest in the world.
We did not plan to visit, but due to a change in our itinerary we gave it a try and WOW were we amazed. The drive is not for the faint of heart as some of the curves are unguarded, but the view from the top is not to be missed. The statue of Christ is beautifully designed and the distance from the surrounding cities led to a perfect opportunity to reflect on the wonder of the creation. Set aside some time to visit Christo Rey, you will be glad you did.
