True Taste Of Tuscany
We were treated with Respect and Equality from we entered the door until we left. I learnt that was not a norm in Italy depending on where you are. That being said... Our host was very engaging and enthusiastic about imparting knowledge of the Winery and its processes and we learned a bit from her. The wines were also very good, we took a bottle to go. Tasting room is modern and relaxing and has a nice view of the vineyard just outside. Thanks for a great experience Poliziano!

The magnificent complex of the Cathedral of Siena, its Duomo, houses a series of some of the most important monuments of the European artistic panorama. With its more than one million visitors every year, the Cathedral without a doubt represents the fulcrum of the entire complex, while other significant elements include the Crypt, the Baptistery and the Museo dell'Opera, all part of the impressive mass formed by the "Duomo Vecchio" (Old Cathedral), and the "Duomo Nuovo" (New Cathedral). Visitors will travel along a memorable itinerary to the discovery of self and the truth of faith through culture and art, the result of more than a millennium of Western history.
We walked over to the ticket office to get the tickets for the Duomo, museum, Baptistry and Crypt, and we were blown away with our tour guides! We have seen all the major churches and Cathedrals in Italy, and many of the lesser-knowns, too, and nothing comes anywhere close to this one! Each has it's own unique style, but this one was the most memorable for me! The interior tour was brilliantly executed and our tour guides made us feel like private guests getting a unique inside tour! I could go back every day and see something new! They cover different parts of the floor at different times, so one would need to go at different times to see it all.

Our hotel in Montepulciano arranged this tour for us and we are so glad that they did. We've done several winery tours in the past and I can honestly say that this one was the most informative we ever done. We learned so much about the entire process. The tasting was wonderful as well, as they offered several different types of wine to try. We ended up purchasing an entire case to have shipped back to the US. Our packaged arrived a few weeks later and we've already enjoyed one of the bottles. Each time we open one it will remind us of our amazing Italian trip. I highly recommend both the tour and their wines.

Book your private tour and become part of Monterinaldi by visiting the cellars, tasting the wines, learning our production philosophy. Pair our wines with local home made food, and enjoy the real Tuscan flavors. Several private events are offered at Castello Monterinaldi: cooking class, off-road adventure, hiking and more. Ask for the complete and detailed program. The Castle of Monterinaldi, situated between Panzano and Radda in Chianti, in the center of the historic zone of Classical Chianti, is near an ancient Etruscan track. This historic site is mentioned in a document written in December 1010, which refers to “the Count Gottifredo Gottizio, of Longobard stock and a gentleman of Monterinaldi.” At Castello Monterinaldi you are welcome every day!
Castello di Monterinaldi was the first place visited on a full day winery tour for our group of 16, and it was the perfect place to start our day. Georgia, our hostess was delightful and created a wonderful experience for us all. The wines were wonderful and the experience is first rate. The property is beautiful and this is a great destination for a tour or tour and meal.

Come and relax in the fresh air with social distancing with our wines and good food. The vineyards and winery have been lovingly tended by the Carlesi-Zucconi family since 1973. Begin with a stroll through the vines on your guided tour of one of this region's most traditional wineries. See how we make and mature our wines in the underground cantina; then afterwards relax with breathtaking views of San Gimignano and the surrounding bucolic Tuscan countryside while enjoying our premier wines accompanied by local cuisine.
YOU have got to go see this winery/vineyard!!! It is the BEST...and David is wonderful. You can really tell that he cares about wine/food/people. It is an awesome tour of the vineyard and family chapel and then you are served a WONDERFUL lunch! We had about 1.5 hours before checking into our AirBnB, and David let us just stay outside, having some wine and enjoying the Tuscany sun. It was wonderful!!! We bought 2 bottles of his DELICIOUS wine. If you are anywhere near San Gimignano, don't miss this vineyard. It is the BEST!!!!

Small organic family business that produces wine, olive oil and grappa. Our services are only by reservation: wine tasting, and restaurant can be booked every day , except sunday. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advantage. We are three brothers and one sister and to provide the best service to our guests we need a reservation because we can not be available in any moment of the day. We will be glad to host you . Have a nice day. Giacomo, Domitilla, Stefano and Ettore
My husband and I visited Il Cocco in 2016, as part of a 10 day trip to Italy. We had an amazing experience, and loved their wines. We recently ordered a case of their wine, as we had finished the last of the case we ordered while we were visiting, and want to support this amazing family business during a time of need. The ordering process for shipping a case was extremely easy over email and used Paypal to pay, and Giacomo was very helpful in getting everything sorted out. We can't wait until our case of wine arrives!

Located in San Gimignano, Campatelli is an 18th-century building that features one of the town’s famous medieval towers. The residence of a high-ranking family in the 19th and 20th centuries, Casa Campatelli reconstructs - through its fornitures, decor, paintings and private mementos - the ambience and history of a traditional Tuscan family and society of a bygone age, set against the background of 1000 years of history, recounted with sophisticated digital technology that encapsulates the origin of the legend of San Gimignano, givin visitors a deeper insight unto the town.
It is well worth visiting this house early on if you are visiting san Gimignano for the first time- and don’t miss the excellent video presentation. This gives a brief insight into the history of both the house and the town and helps put much of what you see later ( such as the frescoes in the duomo) into context.

We thoroughly recommend Icario, both for the wine and the experience. The wine tasting with Lucia was informative and a lot of fun (even in these dark days of COVID). The winery and grounds are beautiful and the passion of the owners towards wine-making is evident. You should definitely include this winery in your itinerary while in Montepulciano.

Reservations are required for winery tours and tastings. Please contact us via email or the phone number above. The Etruscan celebration of life--beauty, food, and wine--is alive today on the Mate family's boutique wine estate. Twenty years ago, Ferenc and Candace Mate, author and painter, fell in love with an abandoned 13th century friary--its romantic tower, courtyard, and two private hills. Within its 28 hectares of Mediterranean woods were fragrant fields of wild herbs. They planted vineyards on Etruscan-built terraces and in seven fields of varying altitudes, expositions and subsoils. For each site, they carefully chose a grape varietal, rootstock, and clones. In marl, mineral-rich shale and tufaceous soil--all abundant in calcareous fossils of a primordial ocean bottom--vines planted to a high density, forced their roots deep through varied layers, enhancing the grapes' flavors and perfumes. The Mate's hand-made wines, from organically grown, carefully selected grapes, are internationally acclaimed.
We enjoyed our second visit to Mate as much as our first visit 4 years earlier. A beautiful vineyard with amazing views and most importantly great wine. We would highly recommend a visit when in Tuscany. Jessica was an excellent host too. Hopefully we will have the chance to return for a third time!

FAMILY PASSION The strength to realize a dream Through the dream and the work of Marco Mazzarrini , Tuscan oenologist and agronomist to Castellina in Chianti in the farm Poggio Amorelli the Famiglia Mazzarrini prodution brand was born, serving high-quality wines bottled at the source, made following the ancient tradition of Tuscan chianti in a territory naturally predisposed to select vineyards. From the vine to the bottle, everything embodies the strong values of a family that, with infinite passion and great technical expertise, expresses, in its wine, the truth of a place, its people, and its culture.
My wife and I visited for our honeymoon and absolutely loved this experience. Great wine and balsamic (we still order a case stateside when we can), great staff and the brothers were charming and informative. Plus, beautiful views of Tuscany. HIGHLY recommend when you’re in Italy.
