We fell in love with Three Hammers the first time we went there. It is such a warm and welcoming location with great people and delicious wine. We live about 2.5 hours away but were planning a wedding at Woodloch which meant we were up in the area a lot. Every trip we made up to the area we made a point of stopping for a glass of wine and to restock with “a few” bottles of wine to hold us over till our next visit. The staff is always very friendly. The owners were always welcoming and very happy to show us around and share their story with us. We ended up falling in love with the property so much that we spoke to Rob and Christine (the owners) about having our first look for our wedding on their property and I am so happy we did. We could not have asked for a better backdrop for our first look. After we finished with our moment, Rob came over to say hi and congratulate us. After so much build up to that moment, I was so happy we were in a relaxing atmosphere and were able to enjoy a nice glass of wine.

Asa Packer Mansion

The Asa Packer Mansion Museum in Jim Thorpe, PA, is an amazing time capsule. The mansion was completed in 1861 by coal and railroad magnate Asa Packer. In 1912 it was donated to the borough by Packer's daughter with the stipulation that nothing be changed or taken out of the mansion. The woodworking, chandeliers, and household items are magnificent. The docent-guided tour was very informative. The orchestrion in the upstairs hallway was a rare treat.

F. M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts

Reviewed By Jessica397 - Baltimore, United States

We saw John mulaney and Pete Davidson at the fm Kirby center and it was absolutely amazing. The staff did a great job of getting the line out of the cold while the early show finished. Although, due to their quick turn over they did not have time to clean the theatre between shows and it was covered in trash and spilled food, so that was unfortunate. It was also quite bizarre that they made everyone put their phones in cases. There was someone who got around it, security looked right at her on her phone and said nothing, so I guess it wasn't that important that the phones be put away.

Wayne County Historical Society Museum

The collections are fascinating, covering the country's first locomotive, the importance of the Erie canal to early Americana industry and the country’s expansion, and documenting through many exhibits how the community and its customs evolved as it navigated through our country's history. There are two spectacular exhibits to highlight. First, the exquisite cut glass produced by the Dorflinger factory and his contemporaries. For 40 years from 1870 to WWI, these pieces were sent around the world to be used at formal events by Presidents, monarchs, and in the finest restaurants. The artistry is nothing short of astonishing, especially when you see the tools they had to work with. It is impossible to day to make glass of such quality by hand. Second, we had the great good fortune to see parts of the collection of the American Impressionist, Mel Stark, a contemporary and friend of Whistler and other American and European Impressionists. The diversity and quality of his work deserves much greater awareness and appreciation. Truly not to be missed.

Antoine Dutot Museum and Gallery

Explore Delaware Water Gap's fascinating history as one of the top US tourist destinations a century ago, as well as an art gallery showcasing some of the best art in the Poconos! The Dutot Museum & Gallery is housed in a charming brick schoolhouse (circa 1850). On the second floor is a museum which displays and interprets artifacts pertaining to the history of the town. A video presentation is shown to visitors. Among the many displays are native American artifacts, Kentucky rifles, a drum from the war of 1812, land deeds and documents dating back to 1707, and resort memorabilia with pictures of famous visitors such as Fred Astaire and President Theodore Roosevelt. Also on the second floor is a recreated old time school room, with walls lined with class pictures from its 99 years as a school. You can still ring the original school bell in the belfry. The first floor features an art gallery with rotating exhibits of high caliber regional art. A second building contains a restored 1926 American LaFrance fire truck and other antiques.

Blue Ridge Estate Winery

Reviewed By vnhaas92 - Bethlehem, United States

Came here on a lovely 60 degree day in January. The wine here is fantastic!! I did a tasting (the samples were huge!) and had a glass of wine which we were able to enjoy outside on the lovely patio area and were provided with a sweet view of the vineyard and what appeared to be a Christmas tree farm. The tasting is $7 and you can sample 5 wines. There were many options to choose from and so many unique flavors that I've never heard of anywhere else such as a cucumber flavor, which was awesome by the way. I loved the glitter wine, mainly because well, edible GLITTER!! The orange moscato was another good one as well as the various wines that were aged in whiskey barrels. So good! Definitely plan on going back as this is my new fave winery!
