Puhvet A.P.T.E.K. is a lively cocktail and shot bar with a cool vibe, which turns into a crazy danceclub at nighttime. It's built in the oldest pharmacy in Parnu. The interior is worth to see, as it's 100% preserved. At summer they have big live concerts in front of the bar every Thursday.

Finished in 2008, this modern library building is fully covered in clear glass, so that unity with the town can be felt through the facades. The brightly lit house is especially inviting on long dark winter nights.Good to know! The architects of this building were awarded the Estonian Cultural Capital Architecture Prize of the Year. Here you can use the Internet and see interesting exhibitions. The library stands on the site of the medieval Parnu order castle. The walls of the castle have partly been marked on the pavement in front of the building. They had still been visible after World War II, but during the construction of the Stalinist central square, the walls were demolished.

The water park is a relaxing place for spending time with family and friends! The two floors of the water park accommodate 700 visitors at a time. The water park offers interesting activities for grown-ups and the young, for beginners and experienced water lovers. The more courageous visitors can use a 4 metre diving platform, and the depth of water underneath is 4 metres. Everyone riding the tube slides or torrential mountain rivers will definitely get a good shot of adrenaline. There are also pools, Jacuzzis, waterfalls, Finnish sauna and steam sauna, sauna centre Paradiisi Saunad, the Aqua bar, an outdoor heated pool (open in winter too!), a summer terrace and a bar waiting for you in the water park. The attractions of the water park allow everyone to be active - from a toddler to the elderly. The longest of the slides is 100 metres long. The shortest slide is meant for young children. The visitors sliding in tubes will not land in the pool, but safety channel.
Worth a visit with the family (waterpark). The Sauna Paradiis was a very positive surprise and definitely worth the money. Nice place to spend a rainy or why not a sunny day in Pärnu. Family ticket for water park and sauna paradise 53eur, two adults and two kids.

Completed in 1768, the Church of Jekaterina is the most style pure and ample baroque church in Estonia. The design of facades characteristically for baroque disjunct and relief, the six broaches are finished with slender needle-shaped tips that add lightness and festiveness to the building. Since church is built a century before the majority of orthodox churches, it differs from them from architectural point of view but at the same time it has influenced the development of orthodox church architecture in whole Balticum.Interesting to know!Parnu church of Jekaterina was built by order and with financing of Russian queen Catherine the II.To this day Parnu Russian congregation operates in the church.
Nice Baroque church that was open to visit. This church is in keeping with several other architectural feature of this seaside resort that are in the Baroque style. Interesting contrast for a Russian Orthodox Church that is also known as St. Catherine's in the English language literature.
