Yelland & Papps are for wine lovers and enthusiasts looking for individual, elegant and distinctive wines made in small quantities. Those wanting a connection with a small family winery that are passionate about what they do and hands on with all aspects, practicing old world techniques in a new world way and continually pushing boundaries but respecting the traditions of the famous Barossa Valley. Yelland & Papps is a 1st generation husband and wife team starting in 2005 in the iconic Barossa Valley, using a minimal intervention approach to create elegant, structured fruit forward wines to enjoy in a social aspect or can cellar gracefully for many years to come. Today Michael and Susan own a small vineyard on the valley floor outside of Nuriootpa in the Barossa Valley and have two young children, Peyton and Campbell living amongst their Winery and Tasting Room. They do not feel they fit in a winemaking box and do not adhere to rules of whether they are unconventional or traditional,
A beautiful setting - the background music wasn't needed as it was such a peaceful place. Relaxing at an outdoor table overlooking the beautiful garden & lawn while the various wines were brought for tasting & explanations of how each wine differed from the one before. We loved hearing the history of the property & the more recent history in the making of this small winery. And the wines were very good!

Full private day tours of South Australian wine regions, incl Barossa, Clare, Hills and McLaren Vale. An amazing tour experience, hosted by a Barossa Valley vigneron.Ideal for groups but we take couples as well. When in Barossa, get to learn how to prune or pick grapes (season permitting) see the Roenfeldt Hill vineyard and its Corkscrew Method vines. Your host, Wayne, loves to cook you a gourmet lunch or dinner at his vineyard too. It is quite unique in the world to be able to tour a premier wine region with an award winning winemaker who has strong culinary skills as well.

Hands-on Gin making experience located in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Situated on the grounds at Maggie Beer's Farm.
This was a fantastic day for our group of 10. Brett is beyond passionate and our group definitely learnt a lot about the history of gin and how to truly enjoy a glass!! Lunch at our own table was also beyond words. So fresh, so delicious and so much! This whole experience was amazing and most definitely recommend.

Atze's Corner Wines is a new cellar door offering premium wine tastings of Andrew Kalleske's family's estate grown and made wines. On an elevated floor located in the winery itself you'll taste through the range surrounded by wine barrels. The cellar door also offers a balcony where you can enjoy views over the 100 year old vineyard, wine by the glass and a small selection of gourmet platters. The only cellar doors open till sunset on Friday and Saturday nights where you can watch the sun set over a 100 year old vineyard.
We spent some time here and the experience was very good. Having the winemaker Andy on site to provide an insight into the wines was fantastic, and we even got to meet mum Barb. A really family affair. Would strongly recommend a visit, and the wines are worth it.

This winery was on our agenda due to a previous family interaction some years ago. We were not disappointed. The lady who helped us was extremely capable and knowledgeable, and informed us about each wine that we tasted. It helped that these were beautifully crafted wines with local character. She also gave us some insight into the history of the property, and it's previous usage as a hospital, run by the Scholz family from the late 1800's to about 1960.
