As a Muslim, I’m a bit particular and prefer a male masseur. The masseur, he applied just right amount of pressure while massaging me. The scrub, it’s a must-try item here. There’s a coffee house attached together with the spa, hence you may grab a coffee while waiting for anyone to complete their massage. This place seems to always be full albeit its location is far off town. Great experience and will definitely repeat if coming to Medan again. Kudos Gandara Spa, keep up the good work!

We had the most humbling experience when we visited and was one of our highlights for Medan and Indonesia. We learnt about Buddhism and will treasure this memory. The palace is grand and impressive without being ostentatious. Also the fortunate cafe serves all vegan food which is amazing the home made bread, tempeh and hot soup were amazing. Don't forget to try the vegan ice cream. All round one of favourite experiences. Please go if you have the chance and don't forget to donate.

We Are First and Biggest Airport Train Services in Indonesia. We provide a smart chocice and convinient tarnsport to the City trough Exclusive Railway
Very convenient, hassle-free way to get from central Medan to KNO. Note that there is a new train schedule (as of maybe Nov 2019). With the recently opened elevated train line through downtown Medan, it now takes approx. 30 minutes to get to/from downtown and KNO. There are no stops for traffic, etc now. Booking tickets at the station is easy, but note that this must be done with a card (or other means) - they don't accept cash payments for tickets.

A grand mansion that all tourists should come and visit to understand one man's excellent efforts to contribute to the growth of the city of Medan through local and Chinese migrant labour. Tjong A Fie was an associate of Cheong Fatt Tze (Blue Mansion in Penang, Malaysia), and both mansions certainly have their similarities. When we arrived, an English speaking guide took us around. He was from the local university and this was his gig to practise speaking English. He refused to accept money, but we pressed it into his hand and he was more than appreciative. The 'tour' was an hour but we spent another hour going through the mansion ourselves.
