Founded in the 17th century, the city is in Ukraine’s northeast (not far from the Russian border) and served briefly as its capital in the early 20th century, after it became a Soviet republic. I highly recommend anyone in Kharkiv to spend an afternoon watching the show in the Dolphinarium. Intelligent mammals that perform amazing numbers thanks to the young instructors follow them in a loving way. For young and old, don't miss it !!!
