The Alhambra screens current films daily in a 105-year old heritage auditorium with magnificent digital quality. The best of the World's theatre, ballet and opera are relayed live by satellite several times a month.
Thank you for an experience from the past. A lovely old fashioned single screen cinema. Very friendly with complimentary tea and coffee before the film. Excellent value compared to some of the modern multi screen cinemas these days. Always love going to the Alhambra.

Great day canoeing and ghyll scrambling with Jack. Had a full tour of Derwent water in the morning, great views and visited a few of the islands. Ghyll scrambling in the afternoon was great fun. Jack explained everything really well and made sure everyone felt safe and had a lot of fun.

Lovely little village shop, everything you need, we arrived on the Thursday, just needed something for tea, got lovely gluten free sausages for my husband as he has coeliac, and a vegetarian option for my daughter, very nice lady who comes from the same area as us! My wife (Judy) and I have just enjoyed a fantastic tour of the Keswick Brewery and tasting. Our host, Nigel, was quite superb. So enthusiastic and informative and so welcoming. An excellent visit and the samples of the ales were delicious. Can’t recommend this tour more. Only regret is that the beer is only sold in Cumbria but understandable. Can’t wait to return and sample some more and see the new Fox Tap bar open. Thanks Nigel and good luck from Tony and Judy Hodge of Salisbury.
