We are a family-friendly bookshop (both new and secondhand) and art gallery. Exhibitions change regularly. We are also the home of the annual book art competition, the Biblio Art Prize. We also host music, performances and book talks - please email us if you have any ideas! We encourage people to come in and spend time browsing, settle on a couch with a book, play a game of chess, give the pianola a go, and we have a great train track set for the kids! Open daily through January. Thus - Mon 11-5 all other times.
Such a beautiful place, every corner has something else to delight your eyes or brain. Enter through a spectacular orange door to a gallery of intriguing artworks regularly updated, then into the bookshop, a converted Masonic hall that makes superb use of light and warm timber colours as well as a rainbow of decorations. Books to satisfy every possible desire and very reasonably priced. Staff friendly and knowledgable. Didn't even mind me playing their piano while my kids perused books and played with the train set.

Visited the day spa on the weekend, there were 5 of us so we got a group package. Upon arrival we entered the reflection room where a beautiful platter awaited (pics attached). This was followed by relaxing treatments - all were amazing! Thanks so much for the relaxing afternoon we all left feeling much lighter and very relaxed. We will be back next time we are in Port Fairy - thanks again from Rachel, Danielle, Sam, Christina and Tiffany!!!

Dairy farmers Julian and Dianne Benson launched Apostle Whey Cheese on October 29, 2005. Since that day, Apostle Whey Cheese has taken out a number of major cheese awards and become an important tourism drawcard for the region. Just a short drive from the Twelve Apostles and the Great Ocean Road, Apostle Whey Cheese is a genuine paddock to plate operation.
For a $1 a person you could taste 12 different types of cheese all made by Apostle whey. Not fancy in their approach but great cheese! They know and produce lots cheese rather than simply sell cheese made by various farms in Vic and SA. Not only that but our visit also coincided with the late afternoon milking of the cows which was a wonderful experience for our toddler to see in the shed next door. All 4 of our children enjoyed making their own flavoured milk with the Apostle Whey milk they sold there as well. All in all it was one of our favourite stops on the 12 Apostles Gourmet trail. Not fancy but very real with friendly people. A very family friendly place!!!!

Fascinating to find about the history of Aussie surfing with some supercool 70s photography, loads of surfboards and interesting exhibits. Could easily have spent a couple of hours (but had a stroppy teenage daughter waiting in the car!) The staff were really nice and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable visit - highly recommended!

This hotel is 5 star. From the lovely staff to the great views to the great amenities, this place was a fantastic mini honeymoon. We stayed in room 401 and we had amazing ocean views with a spa bath and views of the attached hot springs. The hot springs are a great addition to with 15 pools ranging in temperature and super relaxing to go alongside this amazing comfortable hotel. The staff were so lovely and helpful and made this experience all the more better. Have recommended to others to come here on a weekend away.
