Seal Cove Auto Museum is an unexpected hidden gem for sure! Many one-of-a-kind cars from the brass era in perfect condition, completed with easy to read descriptions and stories of each car, bike or motorcycle. Friendly staff. When we went and through next year the "Engines of Change" exhibit was out, telling the story of the Suffrage movement and the role cars played in women's independence. Completely enjoyed our visit. A non-profit (your donation is tax deductible) organization dedicated to collecting and preserving any and all historic information and artifacts pertaining to the granite industry of Maine. In the museum you will find hundreds of old tools that were used in the industry, photos of the quarries in operation and the buildings and monuments which were erected from Maine's beautiful granites. Curator and founder Steven Haynes is there to guide you through this once important history of our state.
Wonderful visit and a lot of history to learn. Being an amateur "rock hound" and the daughter of a man who used to make the chisels used in quarrying, it was a great learning experience. The man that took us through was knowledgeable, fun, and just full of the little information that a person needs to make this an up-close and personal tour. Highly recommend a visit.

We are a busy working wharf nestled in the community of Milbridge, overlooking the Narrraguagus Bay, located on the bold coast of Maine. Our business prides itself on our families heritage and passing on the traditions of several generations. We sell our daily catch of live Maine lobster and other sea bounty. Come visit us at the wharf for a wicked good downeast experience!
We stopped by and were happily welcomed by a wealth of local knowledge and a great variety of fresh seafood to pick up and take home. It is not a restaurant, but a seafood market. Very clean. First time trying "Pickeled Wrinkles"..funny name but they are Whelks (sea snails) that are marinated in vinegar and sea salt. Not for everyone, but I liked them! Haddock in the area is not local, but comes from Canada. Salmon is the local fish, and of course a wealth of Lobster and clams. Surprising to find some very good seaweed salad there also!
