This place has a great selection of metaphysical items as well as items like jewelry, candles, books etc that would make wonderful gifts at very reasonable prices. Typically for my metaphysical shopping, I need to shop online or hit up several stores, but since I was in Denton, I stopped in. It had everything I needed and then some! I’ll definitely be making the drive up from Dallas again soon!

I purchased a room experience for my teen, brother in his 20's, my sister and brother-in-law, my Mom and Dad. Every person has their own unique quirk so it is hard to find something that they will all enjoy. THEY LOVED IT! Rooms were detailed and well planned out, the stories were engaging. All around a good experience. They wanted to stay and do another room. I highly recommend.

This stunning historical courthouse crowns the Denton Square. Many have never been inside, and are missing out on seeing a Texas Treasure! If you are on the Square, go inside this stately county icon, built in 1895. It has a very educational museum that depicts days gone by. This is the 3rd courthouse in this location. Two others burned to the ground. And, founding father, John B. Denton is buried right outside of it. His tombstone states he was a lawyer, preacher and Indian fighter!

Bayless-Selby House Museum

The walls of this Victorian style house museum tell the story of life in Denton at the turn-of-the-century. The story of Denton County prior to 1908 is told through the music room with the E. Gabler & Bro. grand piano, the elegantly set dining room table, and the majesty of the Eastlake-style adult bedroom suite. From the moment visitors step on the garden grounds or the wrap around porch, the walls of the Bayless-Selby House museum begin their story.

A nice Victorian home, along with a few other historic homes. This park has great potential, and is not elaborate, and the houses are worth stopping to see. There is convenient free parking. Just two blocks west of the Town Square, down the same street with the Campus Theater.

Campus Theatre

This grand old movie house in downtown Denton was renovated in the early 1990’s and is now a 300-seat performing arts theatre with more than 100 musical and theatrical performances each year. It is the showplace for Denton Community Theatre and Music Theatre of Denton, as well as many other community performance groups.

We have seen everything from Shrek the Musical to Shakespeare at the Campus Theatre and it has been a delight every time. There's no such thing as a bad seat in the house and We love getting to meet the actors and actresses after the shows. I had season tickets a few years ago so I was up there all the time. This past year I didn't have time for season tickets but look forward to getting them again soon when my kids are out of the house! Great time with friends! A memorable experience in live theatre!

Half-priced books with a Denton touch. Reminds me of Portland's Powell's Books only Denton sized. Local authors, final, three floors of books (or is it four). Don't miss the Denton gem. It's purple, and it's on the square.
