It comprises of a step-back in time, Mister Geppetto style toy shop which holds workshop space for puppet making and story telling. Behind the shop is a purpose-built tiny theatre that contains stage curtains, props and over 100 puppet co-stars to help children create their very own puppet shows. My son 8 and daughters 8 & 5 spent most of a wonderful day here. My son rarely sits down with felt tips but he knew exactly what he wanted to make and just sat down until he had completed Jeremy Clarkson spending over 90 minutes finished every detail, my older daughter made a very elegant rabbit with wonderful furry ears and my younger daughter made Sooty complete with yellow raincoat and Sou' Wester. Such a lovely creative space all my children who are quite different from each other had a lovely time. And conveniently there is a small shop over the road so we popped out to have some lunch after much hard puppet making then came back and played in the puppet theatre at the back.

Lovely relaxing setting and a genuinely fantastic massage from Jason, he managed to release all the tension in my neck and shoulders. Thank you so much. We also took afternoon tea at our leisure, all the staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning.

I've been here a good number of times and bought polishing gear, stones/crystals, all sorts. It's a fairly small shop, but it's full of goodies! They are also very knowledgeable and answer all the questions you could throw at them. Every now and again they open their warehouse, which is just down the road, lot's more stuff on display and usually a free cup of tea/coffee, what more could you want? Visit the shop and if you can visit the warehouse, you will not be disappointed!

Cromer Lifeboat Station

This is an active RNLI lifeboat station that is free to visit, but open to the public and donations can be made. From the large viewing gallery you can see a Tamar class lifeboat close too, unfortunately unless it is an open day (about 2 a year) or lifeboat day (22nd July 2018) you cannot get onboard. In the next few months we hope to improve the facilities and offer visitors an insight of the boat via pictures and videos.

We visited today with our 8 year old Son and had a brilliant time. The staff went to great lengths to explain everything and ensure that he was fully aware of the controls and meanings of the flags during the safety briefing and before we were allowed onto the track. I will admit to feeling a bit nervous seeing him shoot out of the pits in a kart that can do 45mph but needn't have worried as I then tried desperately to keep up (and often failed) to overtake him. The wet track was a challenge, but made for some strictly come dancing inspired pirouettes. Unfortunately our sessions came to an end as the track was starting to dry out and lap times were dcreasing. The management and staff have clearly put a great deal of effort and time into making the site safe for everyone with clearly marked lanes and walkways when moving around the building for getting kitted out and briefed. An excellent treat, we will return next time we are nearby.

Cromer Parish Church (St Peter and St Paul)

The Parish Church was built in the 15th Century and was extensively restored in the late 19th Century. Today, it's home to a large congregation with friendly, relaxed and contemporary services in a variety of styles. Visitors are welcome at all services. The building is open every day from about 9.00 a.m. until about 5.00 p.m. There is no charge and you are welcome to enjoy the building and to use it as a place of peace, quiet and prayer.

This beautiful old Church caught our attention the minute we drove into Cromer. All the graves on the right side of the Church had garden beds of beautiful red and white petunias (I think). Just stunning. We searched out the Public Car Park to enable a visit to the Church itself. The Parishioners run a very professional Coffee and Religious style Gift Shop inside the Church, all very respectful and it was very popular and well done. The Church is beautiful and had quiet sections for prayer and the stained windows of note and oldest parts of the Church were well advised of.

Regal Movieplex Cromer

Regal Movieplex Cinema is a 4 Screen Cinema. Part of the Merlin Cinemas Group. Blockbusters and events on the big screen!

Reviewed By daipp - Cromer, United Kingdom

I have been going to this cinema for over 40 years. My aunt used to do the bookings for the cinema from her shop on the corner of Hans Place and Louden Road. One of the earliest films I remember seeing was Live and Let Die when a Mr. Norris was manager - I also remember that he was ex-army and drove a VW Beetle. Anyway, back to my visit. This time it was to see the film "1917". Since my work to restore and repair the WW1 War Memorial in Cromer, I have done a great deal of research and reading into the "Great War" so this film was something I have been looking forward to since last May. My Great-Grandfather was killed in "1917" at the Passchendaele so part of me was thinking about that particular conflict. The film was brilliant and captivated everyone in the cinema. At the end, something happened which I have only seen happen once before. As the credits rolled, nobody moved or spoke. Everyone stayed silent and sat still. Whether the film deserved this or it was a mark of respect I don't know - personally, I think it was both. The last time by the way was in Florida, September 2006 when I went to a cinema with my son to watch "World Trade Center". The cinema is a little gem. It has 4 screens - this time I was in Screen 1 - the largest of the screens. At the opposite side of screens, the smallest is Screen 4 which is a cosy little theatre and is like a luxury cinema in your own house. I always try and sit in an aisle seat on the left side facing the screen so I can move my right leg around. Fortunately, the staff at the cinema have become used to me asking for this so are always able to accommodate my request. Accessing the cinema is not a challenge either as they have a ramp meaning I do not have to negotiate the steps. On this point, Screen 1 is ramped all the way to your seat with no steps so again, absolutely perfect. The selection of films is always up-to-date and they have special screenings here which come from The National Theatre, Royal Opera House in Covent Garden and Royal Shakespeare Company to name a few. The staff are great and always agreeable. There is a bar, popcorn and confectionery, ice cream available at a reasonable price. Yes, you can travel to the city and sit in a larger seat with a few hundred people and see a film in 3D but if you want good service, latest films in a convenient cinema that delivers what you expect this cinema ticks all the boxes. What shall I see next?

It was a lovely museum, with things to do for our daughter as well, well worth the visit It was great to look around, and see everything they had on display! There was a Morse code machine to try, coats/hats etc for the children to try on, and light signals and other bits that our young daughter loved! The staff were friendly, and even helped my daughter make a bookmark to take home with her! I would definitely go again!
