I am not an artist, but I still love the Animation Academy at the Disneyland California Adventure Park. Even though my drawing didn't come close to that of the real Disney artist that led the class, it was still fun and a great way to escape the rain that hit the park that day. The waiting area of the Animation Academy is shared with other attractions and features multiple screens of different sizes and shapes that show the creative process that takes place in creating some of the iconic animated scenes from favorite Disney movies. I didn't get to return to the Academy during my visit, but I know one of my daughters returned at least two more times since she truly is an artist. It is definitely one of the highlights for her when we visit Disneyland!

Ride takes you through toy story venues while you shoot at targets and build your score. The shooting is actually popping a strong at various "targets". Offers the added enjoyment of competition as your score is totaled at the end and your seatmates scores are shown with yours. Clearly the more you ride this attraction the more likely you will increase your score- hint- if you google this ride there are suggestions as to how to increase your score. I rode with my 8 year old grandson- I was more than happy to end up with the exact same score as him as he fired almost twice as many shots as I did. Aim low! Generally on weekdays the line is not too bad.

I love slipping by here to get out of the heat or just avoid the crowds. Total Nostalgia. During Christmas the "Voices of Liberty" come from EPCOT. They are amazing. They use the Great Moments with Mr Lincoln theatre to perform.

Went to see the New Kids on The Block amongst others here, I planned to park in the premium but I got there too late for that, so I ended up parking in the General lot. It wasn't too bad, the walk wasn't bad, the only thing was they didn't have markers to say where you parked. At the end of the night it was super easy to get out. Inside they had turned some of the men's restrooms into women's being there were mostly women at the concert so it wasn't too long of a line. Concessions lines weren't too bad. The sound for the show was great! I was sitting in section 225 row J, which were amazing seats. They had another smaller stage they came on throughout the show that was almost right in front of me. All in all this was a great place to see a concert.

Attended a conference there and found it to be clean and well maintained. Easy floor plan that got us to the hall we were located and close to everything.

We visited Disney in December, so the Haunted Mansion is re-imagined at this time in a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. Lots to see and I can’t imagine it would actually be scary to anyone but tiny toddlers, maybe. Classic ride and very worth experiencing!

Pre COVID, this place is amazing! I have NOT been there since the restrictions, and Covid stuff. Prior to all that, this area is awesome! This is going to be long so, bare with me! First off, pay for the valet parking! It don t cost much, will save you the headache. Parking can be a nightmare. Park your car, and enjoy the area! This a great place for dates, and just getting out! The food options are amazing! Google “The Blind rabbit”! I had no idea about this place! Until, a wall opend up while, my daughter was enjoying a crape. Yeah! The wall just opened! I was leaning against it! Disneyland thing, Speak easy,/pirates of the Caribbean/ Alice in wonder land/ Harry Potter/ steam punk/ mixology place can’t really put my finger on it, or the kind of vibe but, really awesome and, the staff is amazing! Very easy to talk to, and they answer all your dumb questions, like mine, as to what they are setting on fire, and what the contraptions are doing. Make a reservation! Like 20 people max capacity! Perfect for a date night! Just do drinks though unless you are into fancy food. Would have preferred one of the many options available in the packing house. Just not my thing. Asian place across the street, great noodles! Walk down two lights, hang a left, house of chimney cakes!! GO THERE! Then, walk down to the DUCKS hockey arena and watch amateurs skate and play hockey! Air conditioning, and, a full bar! Awesome!

Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters is one of my favorite interactive rides in Disneyland... Join Star Command, board your XP-40 Space Cruiser and help stop the Evil Emperor Zurg from stealing crystallic fusion cells. Destroy Zurg’s secret weapon by shooting targets with your laser pistols and accumulating points. The target values from lowest to highest are circles, squares, diamonds and triangles. When lit, the values are increased... the ride features two confrontations with Zurg himself. Aim for the hidden target on Zurg between his breast plates just below the Z on his chest for extra points. Astro Blasters takes you to infinity and beyond!
