This area is amazing. Well worth a trip to visit for several days. We were on a group trip & spent 4 nights. We could have easily stayed a full week & not seen it all. Incredible scenery. Hiking is great.

The tour begins at the port of Bahía López, 30km away from Bariloche, on Circuito Chico. We navigate the Brazo Tristeza in the southwest of Lake Nahuel Huapi for about an hour, and then we get on the beach to start an easy hike 1,5km in the forest to discover the magnificent Frey waterfall. Our boat Kaiken Patagonia is very confortable, we carry only 15passengers. On the way back we serve lunch onboard. Food and beverages are included. Optional we offer transportation in out to port.

Guided horseriding expeditions of one, two or several days. Dutch, english, french, german and spanish spoken. The trips usually include lunch or overnight stays at local families. In the summer we camp in the open air or visit an authentic Patagonian Estancia and work together with the gaucho's. All trips are measure made and adapted to requests of the visitors. Experience is not necesarily required. Accommodation available too.
Horse riding through Patagonia has always been a dream of mine and my husband and I recently had the opportunity to truly do it in style. We spent our days in the wonderful company of Ariane and truly embraced the ‘Gaucho’ lifestyle. It was incredibly memorable and a highlight of our South America trip to date. Endless days riding though majestic landscapes, eating al fresco on the side of river banks and sleeping in the mountains was very special. Our time in the saddle and #betweentwoears may have left us walking like John Wayne but I have been converted to life on horseback. Ariane was so helpful from the first email to our drop off to the airport. She is a true horse woman and looks after her animals with great care, attention and kindness. I can not recommend this trip enough. Horse riding for all levels and the overnight is great if you really want to cover more ground and get a deeper sense of the landscape.

We have an AirBnB condo on Playa Centenario with the best views possible. We've walked the lakeside down to Playa Centro, where the main pier is located. Today we were able to watch a lake swim. It's about a mile by water, most swam round trip but some exited here. Wet suits of course. The temperatures run 55-59 (f), although the locals swim here. The water is crystal clear and it must be great to have a sail boat or any boat to explore the vast reaches of this lake.

Built in 1946, this cathedral and its beautiful stained-glass windows are among the most moving sights of San Carlos de Bariloche.
We visit Houses of Worship as we travel internationally. And we recommend a visit toCatedral de San Carlos de Bariloche.

I did a two day hike. Started the hike in pampa Linda. The rood to the starting point is only open in the morning, to go to pampa Linda in the afternoon you can only leave this rood. Narrow rood. In the bezinning the hike is easy. After a few km you started climing. It is 15 km to refugio Roca were you can stay for the night. Naar the refugio you can walk to the waterfalls. They are nice. Large refugio. They serve dinner and you can buy a Packed lunch. If you continue thuis hike you will decent rapidly. You will hear the whole time ICE Breaking from the glacier. Really cool. I think you will see 3/4 glaciers, i think it has in Total 8 glaciers but you cannot see them all. After 3/4 km you walk in the woods. Kind of hard lost of trees on the Path. Not an easy hike. I think most of the people need 5 a 6 hours for the 12 km. Really muddy. The last 2 km are easy. Around 4 you have to take a boot then a bus for 3=km and then an other boot and you will arrive hear llao llao. This part is really good organized. When you have bought your boot ticket , boot can be late the rest is smootly. They take care of your backpack in the harbor of llao llao you get it back. Take a warm jacket with you can be a bit cold on board.
