What a treasure Perivale Gallery is! We have been wanting to visit for some time now, and finally had the opportunity yesterday. Well curated and represented, the gallery provides the work a host of diverse artists and artisans. The North is prominently on display in various forms: wall art, sculpture, jewelry, pottery.... all worthy of a second, third look, and even permanent gazing in the perfect spot in your home. The gardens at Perivale are equally impressive. Stroll through and the peaceful serenity will envelop you. If you are on the beautiful island Manitoulin, stop in. If you are not, make the trip ... it is so worth it!

Great walk and beautiful view. The path is wide open with very few tricky spots for the walk. 4 or 5 great views from the top overlooking the whole north side of the island.

We offer sightseeing cruises that bring passengers surprisingly up-close to the pristine beauty of Georgian Bay's remote island wilderness and the rustic charm of its grand summer cottages. The Island Queen is fully equipped with comfortable seating, large viewing windows, outside observation decks, wheelchair accessible washrooms, a snack bar, a full commentary and heat for our fall colour cruises. Cruises depart daily from June 1 to mid-October each year from the town dock in Parry Sound, Ontario. New this year is the "Islander", our brand new 40-passenger vessel! We're offering two tours on the Islander, a lunch tour to Henry's World Famous Fish Restaurant on Frying Pan Island and a guided hiking tour to Huckleberry Island, where staff from the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve will join us for a casual stroll over the rocks. Lake Superior Provincial Park

Reviewed By womanseyeview - Barrie, Canada

Highway 17 (Trans Canada) winds right through the heart of this spectacular Provincial Park - made even more spectacular by the changing colours of Fall. Well maintained, as were all the Provincial Parks we visited, with endless options for hiking, water sports and just filling in forests. The washrooms throughout the Provincial Park system in this area were well looked after. Our favourite beach was Old Woman River Bay although there were a lot to choose from. Day rates were very affordable- even more so if you were a senior.
