One of Nepal's famed mountain ranges, the Annapurna consists of several peaks of varying heights. Of these, Annapurna I and Annapurna II are the tallest at almost 8000 meters providing a spectacular panoramic view for anyone visiting the Himalayas.
One of the world's most famous treks for good reason. The scenery covers everything from lush forest and rice paddys (in the lower sections) to arid valleys (around Manang and mustang) and of course, the 5400m Thorung La pass! And all along the way your have this amazing backdrop of the Annapurna range and other Himalayan giants. Plan on at least 2 weeks to enjoy the trek - or more if you want to do some of the side trips available. Lodging is easy to find pretty much year-round although it gets very busy in the peak seasons (April & September). Bring warm gear, a strong pair of legs and a sense of adventure :)

Seeing Hands Clinics offer a unique massage experience from professionally-trained visually impaired massage therapists. It operates as a social enterprise, providing training and jobs for blind people in Nepal. There are four clinics in Nepal, three in Kathmandu in Thamel, Patan and Boudha, and one in Pokhara.
I suffer from frequent neck and shoulder pain, so regularly go for massages and have tried Thai, Chinese, Turkish massage in different countries. This was easily one of the best - equal to the "professional" sports therapist I see at home. I was fortunate that there was a slot available when I walked in as it was next door to my hotel. Laxmi was my masseuse. She knew the pressure points and managed to massage away most of my knots and kinks. Booked for a 60-minute session but ended up extending to 90 minutes. Highly recommended if you're in Kathmandu - excellent massage with the opportunity to contribute to a good cause.

Who We Are For everyone that has enjoyed a tandem flight with us, learned to fly under our instructors, there is one thing we hear consistently: "You have the best job in the world." We don't take this comment lightly, and even after hearing it a thousand times it is a nice reminder of how privileged we are to be able to make our passion our profession. It speaks a lot for our team for this passion to still remain after all these years. In fact, it grows with almost every flight. Nothing compares to the feeling of soaring freely with the birds over one of the most picturesque landscapes on earth, and with each joyful shout from a passenger that leaves the ground for the first time, or a student that has made their first successful landing, our passion is recharged. We are the first paragliding company in Nepal, and with 20 years of experience our knowledge of the local flying conditions is unmatched. Paragliding, like everything in life, is constantly evolving, and we are committed to guiding the growth of it here in Nepal in the most professional, safe, and enjoyable way possible. We take our title as "The Paragliding Pioneers of Nepal" very seriously, and are constantly searching for new flying routes, sites, and ways to improve to ensure the adventuresome spirit that gave birth to this sport is alive and well for years to come. If you have dreamed of flying, let us help you make your dream come true.

We took our two daughters to this cooking class and it was wonderful to do as a family. We were warmly welcomed and our kids got stuck straight into momo making and making things with a pestle and mortar - they had so much fun, especially later on trying to make sel roti!! We were certainly not experts at this!! The food we made was delicious and we can't wait to try it again ourselves - a real lovely insight into Nepali life and food, Highly recommended and don't hesitate to take kids too!!

I found the trek up comparatively easy to others I had done. Until I was passed buy a guy literally skipping through the stream. I later stayed at his guest house, total coincidence but it was lovely. Hotel evening view. Smaller hotel, but gave me real interactions with the local people. But also a shower imported from Europe and it’s honestly one of the best showers I ever had !! The weather was flawless when I was there. I went up the surrounding peaks, ate cake, and spent one day sat outside my room in the beautiful sunshine eating yak cheese. I’d recommend the trek hightoy, and would probably spend longer here than I did. I had friends who explored much further. And I’m not entirely sure why I didn’t (cake and yak cheese ????????), but even though it’s a long way, I’ll probably return one day as my heart never felt so at peace.
