Rocky Mountain Balloon Adventures, LLC

You have a unique opportunity to "break the earthly bonds of gravity," and if you've been dreaming about flying -- try this! The adventure begins shortly after sunrise when the mountain air is still calm and stable. Ballooning is an "hands-on" participation sport, and we will enlist your energy in the set-up and inflation of the balloon (optional). Have your camera ready to capture the excitement as our beautiful giant balloon rises for its journey. You'll then climb aboard our basket for the flight of a lifetime enjoying the enchanting sights and tranquility that can only be experienced from a hot air balloon. We may fly inches over the area lakes for a breathtaking "splash-n-dash," a little higher for some souvenir pine cones from the tops of trees or up to 3,000 feet for a 200 mile panoramic view of 4 states. After the dreamlike floating sensation of the balloon, you'll enjoy a closing ceremony back on the ground.

We had the BEST time at Pagosa Escape Zone. I called the number listed and was immediately greeted by a kind voice confirming me they were open. We were so excited so, of course, we immediately booked a room online! We chose to do the Treasure of the Rocky Mountains room per recommendation as there were only 2 of us and it was so much fun we went again the next night! The person who assisted us as “game master” was the same both nights and she was absolutely wonderful. She exuded happiness, positivity, encouragement (while we played) and made our experience that much better. The second night we did Krampus (the scary room) and while it was recommended for 4 people, the person assisting us saw how we played and thought we could do it, just the two of us, and we are SO GLAD she did. It was AWESOME! The rooms are beautifully put together, the puzzles are challenging but achievable, everything was so clean and they are doing everything they need to to keep both their team members and escape zone players safe. Pagosa Escape Zone is wonderful and a MUST for those of you looking for something great for couples, team-building, family fun, or anyone!!

We definitely will rent from him again the next time we are here in Pagosa during the summer months. We also highly recommend you contact Colorado Overland Adventures if you are looking to rent a Jeep in the area. Thanks Jon, we had a great time!

My 20 yr old Daughter and I took lessons from Kelly. She was so patient with us since we had never skied before. We had a blast on our 2 hr private lesson! Lots of snow the night before and today when we went. So amazingly beautiful! We met up with the rest of our group after lessons and skied together on the green runs. Wonderful day!

Elwood Pass

Reviewed By SandyKinslow - Denver, United States

We took our 2016 Jeep Rubicon over Elwood Pass in July, 2017. There is lots of mud, rocks and bushes to get through. We crossed the river about 12 times. The scenery is Amazing. My husband was driving, I didn't care for the few straight down drop offs on the passenger side of the jeep but we survived. Plan on 5 hours if you take the whole trip from 160 to Summitville and back. There's a ghost town in Summitville that is probably fun to explore but it was raining pretty hard when we got to it.
