Make an appointment to learn traditional archery on the Cabot trail, or get a lesson and a private tour on a 3D shooting trail. Ages 8+ on the range and 12+ on the trail. Host a party or group, use the outdoor kitchen and have a bonfire. Nature at its finest in the Highlands of Cape Breton!
My husband and I were thrilled to discover this in the area. We were staying 30 minutes away in Ingonish and couldn't pass up the opportunity to try archery. Jay, the owner/instructor, was fantastic! Very friendly and she gave a great tutorial. We were both first time archers and needed lots of guidance. Our session involved approximately 10 minutes of "lessons" and then we were free to shoot to our heart's content. She was there to give tips and tricks as need, but also let us do our own thing. She was a lot of fun to just be around! Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back!

This trail is a must when traveling along the Cabot Trail! There is lots of free parking and bathrooms at the trail entrance. While the trail is located high up in the mountains, the terrain was quite level and easy to navigate. We did the shorter route and took our time to enjoy the views along the way, and especially at the end (even with some fog).

This is a must go to, we went to Louisburg in the morning and Miners Museum in the afternoon! The underground tour is great, amazing stories that keep you entirely engaged. Tough on taller people or if you have a bad back. Next time I will bring a kneeling pad to be more comfortable during the stops. Perhaps they could offer that there?

Probably or if the most Beautiful places in Cape Breton. Stunning landscapes. So many photo opportunities. The skinny mountainside road can be a little scary so take it slow but you will be so glad u went. Worth every minute of the drive. Be sure to stop at the beach under the campground on the top of the mountain. Spectacular!

Nestled in the northeast corner of Cape Breton Island lies the quaint fishing village of Neil’s Harbour. Just two minutes off of the Cabot Trail, let the lighthouse guide you to Dixon's Zodiac Seafari. Prepare to have a smooth, exhilarating ride aboard the "733 Hurricane", the same type of vessel used by the Canadian Coast Guard. This is where your coastal, whale and marine life adventure will begin.
